Exactly! Same situation here. Was worried I might need a new Trans after hearing a lot of negative things about this transmission. 30 second fix and this baby is pulling like a horse 🐎 thank you for the video since I didn't know where this adjustment was.
I’ve had my mower for close to 9-10 years and never knew how to adjust it! Def needs it as it’s a workout pushing this beast. I also have the big league lawn roller attachment with about 14 pounds added to it. Hahaha. Hopefully this just fixed my problem.
Thank you for your help with these mowers, I just bought one and have mowed once, I’ll be upgrading the pully’s and tighten up belts now that I know how. “THANKS OLE’MAN”.
Great video! Thanks for sharing the details to help me out keep mine going in the 5th year of use!!! Love this mower, been a workhorse for me. But, it does need regular maintenance, new belts is a regular big headache...
Informative videos. Can't you transfer over the adjustment knob to.new mower or get a larger wing nut from hardware store so you can adjust in the field when needed?
@@davidboehlke1880 There is a drain plug on the underside of the engine. The bad thing is that it would be a total mess by opening the drain plug. No way to put something there to catch the oil while draining.
@@davidboehlke1880 If you tip the rear of the mower up about half way, look up past the transmission towards the bottom of the engine. I think it takes a 3/8" or 1/2 " square drive by using an extension with a ratchet.
You saved me a trip to the repair shop. Have not adjusted it in 2 years. It's like brand new.
Thank you - this made all the difference . Now just I need an adjustment to get me up the hill 😂
Thanks so much for this video. She just came and told me it wouldn’t drive forward. This fix it.
This was awesome advice....you just saved me $200 by fixing it myself-thanks !!
Cool
Thank you very much for the video, 30 second fix when I initially thought it might be the transmission!

Thank you very much. Mine came with too much slack and am going to tighten it like your video shows. Thank you so much for posting this. RH DSD

Thank you! This is exactly what I needed to fix/adjust! Works perfectly again!
Glad it helped!
Thanks for this !
Love my Timemaster , but it was beginning to struggle pulling the striping kit on any kind of incline.
Much appreciated!
Much obliged! These counter intuitive things get me every time.

Thanks for this video. Now I know how to adjust the drive cable. I was doing the opposite.
Excellent video. My TimeMaster is much easier to use now. Thank you!!!!
Great how-to video. Thanks.
Be careful not to over tighten it because it is attached to the housing of the kill switch, which is thin plastic.
Cheers from the uk
Thanks a bunch 🇨🇦
How do you adjust rpm
Thx
What if my left back wheel doesn't turn
Whats the best way to change the oil?
Tip it on its side. 1000 mower and no drain bolt

@@georgeszucs2679 I'll have to check my engine then. Kinda stupid they would make it so you can't put anything under it
