Thank you! Tips = 1) If you can not find the manual, or schematic, for the exact model that you are repairing, get the manual for another model in the same series... For example, Tektronix made a whole series of 2000 model oscilloscopes. Say you can not find the information for the model 2215, then try the model 2213. It may have helpful information... (This is just an example. Both of these models can actually be found.) Maybe the newer model uses the exact same power supply as the older model and that is what you happen to be repairing. Even for the portions of the circuit that are not identical, you may get clues from the related model. 2) As you said, the same board may be used in different makes and models. When a device is sold under various names, this is called "rebranding." So, try to find the name of the other sellers and then search for their make/models. This is true for home appliances and even automobiles. 3) As you often teach, the way a device works may have universal principles... Such as your videos on Switch Mode Power Supplies. They mostly all work in a very similar way. So, research how the device you are repairing works, in general. Cheers!

Dear sir, I followed your instructions as to how to find service manuals to fix my CRT devices
but I had no luck finding any circuit diagrams for all three of my broken CRT VGA computer monitors.
I need to fix them for my gaming pc which runs on win98 for some retro games.
What is remarkable is the fact that all three were working fine. One day I had one plugged in on my main
Pentium 4 computer and I had been making some backups of various drives switching the pc on
and off frequently to connect and reconnect the next drive to be backed up. On one occation
the monitor did not show the signal and remained with a blank screen. I thought the monitor
went bad so I switch to another one I knew it was working before in its place and the same
thing happened. I went to my laptop and googled blank screen on boot and it recommended to
remove the ram and putting it back in and also repositioning the VGA card. I did that but the monitor remained blank however
I could tell the c was trying to boot. I checked all the monitors on another pc and they
all remained blank. I then took the one from the other pc and finally I was able to continue my backups.
However, it is crucial to me to be able to fix those monitors because I cannot afford to buy old monitors
from the Cyprus market. Since you have a lot of experience with finding manuals it would be of great help to me if
you could find these manuals for me and provide the links to download them or email them to me.
The model numbers are as follows:
1 AOC model 7vlr
2 HG 775
3 Philips model 105521

It is available for TVs, audio equipment and similar stuff, but, many modern Air conditioners provide only block diagrams and basic steps to conclude which board is faulty and then suggestion to replace that board.

And also sunpolo inverter hybrid 5kw/48v with mppt of upto 400vdv input but I think all has same mother board except controller

Hi Mr. Haseeb I have a smps with no output. Only clicking noise. Found the data sheet of the ic. Is TOP204AY switching ic. The smps is from Alcatel Lucent. What you recommend to test. I had already done the optocoupler by pass with the diode trick, and the clicking noise stopped. Already measure the caps and they are OK. Diodes too. Don't know what to do more
kindly check snubber circuit, connected at IC drain pin
check capacitor at source pin (center pin of TOP204)
check diode in auxiliary winding
check output side rectifiers and capacitor
these are the possibilities
check transformer core (for separation of core halves)
@@HaseebElectronics thanks a lot for your prompt reply. Amazing support for your followers. Transformer core already checked. I taked it out of circuit to measure and are all OK. Each winding is ok and checked if there was some continuity from one to the others. All OK. I think I tested all the diodes too, but I will check it all again and will reply asap.

@@HaseebElectronics Hi again Mr Haseeb, problem solved. After checking all the tips and everything seems to be good, I take the oscilloscope to check if the ic (Top20) was switching. I was a little afraid of use it because of mains on the oscilloscope. But i was out of ideas and everything has been tested before. The trouble was the ic. Even with 5,2volt on the control pin there was no oscillation on drain pin. Just changed it and all the voltages are good now. I have 5volt 12 volt, 24 volt, 15 and - 15volt.
This smps is from a TSX37 PLC. After this I get another trouble. Power supply ok, but every led of the matrix display is lighted. I hope it has the matrix controller burned. I will try to get the PLC back on machine without the led matrix board. Just to see if the rest is working. Then I will try to check and get the qfpc ic. Or the complete board.
