Love pin trading. Our latest trip, one of the cast members at Caribbean Beach gave us a large Skyliner pin! It was so magical because it was my husband and I's first time staying at a Skyliner resort and they just gifted it to us. I collect Figment, Stitch, and Villains. I use a PinFolio to keep my pins easily accessible in my backpack for trading in the parks. Also, to make sure I don't buy/trade for a pin I already have I take a picture of my collection with my phone so I can reference if I can't remember. I do have a small collection so its manageable. I love your idea of collecting first ride of the trip pins. Now I want to go back lol.
I am LOVING the pin trading from your most recent vlog series and was so excited you posted this video!! Commenting to make sure my vote is cast for you to continue including this in your future trips content 🤣. My daughter and I are fully in our Disney pin trading era- buying the Munchlings mystery packs on our spring break trip could borderline be classfied as an addiction (your cutie Donald Duck corn pin is from one of the sets!). I am rationalizing to myself that other adults have much more expensive hobbies anyways so this is okay haha!! Thank you so much for sharing, the Disney pins dopamine hits are real. 🥰
I’ve been pin trading at Disneyland for about 3 years now but I love the trading at Disneyworld 😍 Just a suggestion! If you’re unsure about your goofy collection but have a few Donald, Mickey, Minnie, daisy, or Pluto I’ve heard of people having a “Sensational Six” collection. Basically collecting the six main characters of Disney/Mickey cartoons! Just an idea If you’re already collecting a little of each but unsure of having a collection for each one 😊
I LOVED all the little snippets of watching you guys pin trade on your most recent trip, please go back again and document more of it 😂😂 I loved this video sooo much! I was hoping you’d share about what pins you got after the trip, I was so excited when I saw the title pop up on notifications and I loved watching it! And your channel! 💜
Welcome to pin trading. Yes if you don't care you can get scrapper pins . I have several. What ever makes you happy. The best part of pin trading is you get what ever you want. They do have two different sets of luggage pins if you collect travel pins. Yes pins take up almost no room in your luggage and best souvenirs i think. You not only remember what is on the pins but how hard or easy it is to get them. Like you said you might collect this type this time but next time you might get something else. It is great to talk to cast members while trading. Cast lanyards or hip pack have the best pins. Also the hotels and the disney store at the airport usually has great pins traders. You did get as a pin video. Love to hear why someone got the pins they did. Thanks for your time
All of your pins are gorgeous!! Can you show all the collections displayed out on a board in a future video if you ever have a chance? I used to work at Hollywood studios and I’ve always loved collecting pins 😍🥰 I’ve never done any trading outside of work though and it looks super fun! ✨💫✨
Just wanted to say I’ve been binge watching your Disney vlogs and have been really enjoying them! I’m from MA and my husband and I go to Disney once a year if not every other! Our love of Disney world actually started when we went to college in west palm. Proud Disney adult 😂 You’re making me so excited for our upcoming trip! 😊
Loved this! I am such a pin fanatic! I started collecting pins 10+ years ago, but bought my first pin in 2006 on my first trip to Disney when I was 7. I still have it; a Minnie ballerina pin! I don't really trade much anymore, but your Disney vlogs make me want to start trading again! My main collections are Disney Parks (rides, resorts, special events), Minnie + Mickey, Frozen, and Mary Poppins (this is a hard one; they don't make too many MP pins!). But I also have a tiny Star Wars collection I'd like to build up at some point :)
Always wanted to see your pin collections. I loved watching y’all trade in the videos from your trip. I like to collect Lilo & Stitch pins since it’s my favorite movie. I can’t wait to see your collections grow. 😊😊
I LOVE this video so much! I had asked during your recent Q&A about what and where your favorite spots to pin trade!?!?! I thinking of starting and want to take a day to stop at all the resorts I have stayed and collect resort pins! The coffee cup collection is adorable!! I can’t wait to see your recent haul. Have a magical day!!! ~Peg from Maine
so on the back of the pin trader boards in the parks there is a map of all the locations! that is the best way to find the spots, however my favorite spots are outside spaceship earth in Epcot & Hollywood Studios!
I absolutely seeing how much u 2 are enjoying the pin trading experience. This pin reveal video was fantastic, and you have absolutely perfected showing the pins off exceptionally well. My favourite that u showed would have to be Donald in the shape of a duck.
Yay!! Love seeing pin videos. I’ve been a big pin trader for years & so excited to see people getting into it recently! :D that last pin you showed is a SCORE! Also I was inspired by you & a few other creators to start vlogging my trips! Lots of pin content to come!
I def wanna get into pin trading on my next trip with my kids, loving this so much. I’m wondering how you got started? Where did you buy your first pins and how do you know if they’re tradable?
have so much fun pin trading! I started by buying some pins in the parks that are the "booster" packs. My favorite value to buy is the animal one with all the animal sidekicks. You get 6 pins for $35 and after my AP discount it was $30, so I bought two of those to get me started!
Such a cute video. My family also buys pins with meaning to us but never really got into the trading game. It’s fun to watch you guys do it though! Also your natural hair is gorgeous 🙌🏻
I collect some pins, haven’t gotten into trading. I am working on collecting pins for the resorts we’ve stayed at, favorite rides, pins that represent each of the parks and my primary collection is Figment! I really enjoyed seeing all the pins you traded for!
I absolutely love pin trading. We got really into it on our last trip and had some awesome finds on the boards. I love your attitude towards trading as well. I have a couple pins that are probably fake but I love them anyway. It’s just a fun hobby and cool way to add extra magic into my Disney trips.
Where are the places to trade in the parks and in the resort? Would it show up on the My Disney Experience app? My daughter will be starting pin trading on our trip in July. Thank you.
It sounds like you realize that a lot of the pins in the parks can be “scrapper” pins so as long as you are not spending a lot of money on traders it can be fun to collect. I only do trading with this in mind. I collect park rides and resort pins mostly limited editions so I don’t trade them at the parks, although once in awhile you can find these on the boards. Enjoy seeing the pins you are collecting!
Omg you found so many amazing pins!!!! Which parks were the best in your opinion for finding more unique pins amongst the more common pins you see frequently on the boards? You found a lot that I've seldom seen on boards.
I know!! truly so many good ones, and honestly it's really hard to say however I think the three stores in the front of Hollywood Studios always seem to give me good luck.
Hey there, New to the channel and we have literally been binge watching. Love you guys and love all Disney and your content. I am officially going to start pin trading!!! So Yay!
In the hot air ballooning community pins are a big thing and everyone has pins of their balloons!! That pin is so cute and I have to find one for myself!
I collect Plutos, Loki, scar and stitch!!! My family and I are OBSESSED!! We have pinfolios now and have LE and LR to trade now which is so fun! It’s addicting lol
My wife and I are taking our first trip in June and I told her the only souvenirs I want for sure are a pair of ears, building a Lightsaber, and pins. Any pins. I figure get some starter packs and go from there
I am a pin trader! I am currently working on my collections of Disney Princesses, Frozen, Winnie the Pooh & Friends, Toy Story and Marvel! 🎉 What a great video- the coffee cup and airplanes are so cute!
We collect pins based on our favorite rides at Disney, fav movies, visiting resorts and commemorative things! I def want to start a Yzma collection (she’s my fav villain lol)
My husband and I buy a pin for every resort we stay in! I also collect Peter Pan, and just general Disney parks! My husband has a Star Wars collection!
You need to do a Mickey head collection! You have so many great ones! I just recently got into pin trading on my most recent trip! I love Winnie the Pooh so I’m always in the lookout and I love anything in food form! (:
Elliot! That's the plane you couldn't think of the name of. Cute pins. My kids traded when they were little. My daughter collected tinkerbelle ones after a cast member gave her a special tinkerbelle pin for stopping and trading with a young worker with down syndrome when everyone else was ignoring him. That is our favorite pin ever!
So I blame my father for getting me into collecting trading pins. My father has been collecting since 2000 when all went for the first time as a family but I have been collecting since 2004 and every time I come across something of value of something I like, I will add it to my collection. We went last year as a family with the addition of my brother in law and we went crazy with the trading pin purchases. Both my father and I collect the limited edition stuff and stuff that commemorate special events, attractions we’ve been on, etc. but I, more or less, collect what I like.
I usually buy a pin for each resort I stay at and then usually one really nice pin to commemorate the trip as a whole! As for trading, I usually am good to trade for ANY Beauty & the Beast pin 🤣
we also love to do the hotel pins for every one that we've stayed at!! our favorite way to commemorate the stay & we also always get an ornament if they have it
My daughter just got into disney pins I bought her a AIWL pin her favorite movie y I do that she got Obsessed lol she loves her pins so I'm learning az I go along cause this is a expensive hobby😂
