- True Ending.
Keep choosing R1 to sacrifice Ludger as the last Time Factor count to break the curse.
A shame Ludger have to sacrifice himself to save all those who are affected by Time Factor and to finally break the curse.
My how Elle have grown.. reminds me of a grown up Nanako.

このエンディングーは分史の世界の未来のルドガーの願いが叶ったようなもの。ルドガーが消えたことで正史世界のエルが生まれることはなく、エルが消えることはなくなった。
カナンの地を巡る旅でエルはミラとヴィクトル、そしてルドガーを失い、その大切な人のおかげで生きることができた。
テイルズの中で一番悲しかったのが、分史ミラ消滅。付き合いは前作から正史ミラのほうが長いけど分史ミラのほうが人間の女性らしさがあって、エルと分史ミラのスープのエピソードがとても印象に残っていて感情移入しやすく、正史ミラより分史ミラのほうが好きです。あと、あの世でルドガーとユリウスの再会のシーンがあったら、もっと感動していました。
仲間の衣装の緊張感の無さと感動のシーンが混同して感情が迷子だよ！！
凄い今更だけど22:10秒のルドガーの目に映ったエルが自分が消滅する直前にタイムファクター化から逃れたエルを見れたんだと思うと本当に泣きそう
少女のために世界を壊す覚悟はあるか？
じゃなくて、
大切なものの為に、全てを壊す覚悟はあるか？
って感じだったな…
この作品は前作キャラのその後も含め非常によくできてたと思います。
ＥＮＤも3つありましたね。ルドガー、エルＥＤと、あのもう１つのＥＤは大変でした。勝ち残るのが！
If you don't know what Elle is doing now grown up she is seeking to find a way to bring Ludger back which leaves room for a Xillia 3.
I cry everytime I see the the picture of the entire cast at the end of the credits....
エルに美味しいスープを作ってくれる人は、全員居なくなった･･･
If they do make a sequel, they'll probably have an entirely new playable cast including Elle so lets cross our fingers everyone. ^_^
I cried at this end. Because I finished a great game and because Ludger wasn't around anymore. I want a sequel a sequell where Ludger lives a sequel where we can finally settle things with Xillia once and for all a sequel where Jude and Millia get there happy end.
That sounds like a sweet fantasy.

I kinda wish ToX ending credits were more like this. Show some of their artwork, then just the blank rolling credits.
The plush dolls on their heads and shoulders is jarring to the sad scene and kind of takes you out of the moment.

Well, ended up sacrifice Elle in the end. I don't even know there are another ending. Oh well whatever, its finished anyway.
Yeah, the ending of Knight of Ratatosk (the bad, I mean) made me cry a lot T-T MARTAAAAAA TT-TT they were so cute T-T but the best ending is really good ^^

エンディングの挿絵の、ルドガーの瞳に映るエルを見ていたら急に涙が溢れて止まらなくなった
ミラとベルベット前から似てるとは思ってたけど色無くすと更にそっくりだw

I said it leaves room for a Xillia 3. I never said they're going to actually make one. Leaving room in True endings are companies ways if they ever run out of ideals they can always go back to gaes like this and make sequel for it.

I wonder if Ludger is still alive in another dimension though. Like he's forced to leave this world to go in another one. Betcha it's Milla and Musee's and he becomes a summon spirit. :P Just some hypothesis I have.

I see in the end Jude got that special award Professor Haus was supposed to receive in the prequel. Good for him! But I still want Milla with him!

最低限の時間でエクシリアの世界観を説明しつつ、2のメインシナリオをきっちり描けるようなアニメ脚本化が担当すれば
尺的にも間に合うし。名作になること間違いなし
Was this officially called the true ending? I don't like to think of it as that. I like to call it Elle's ending and consider all of the endings canonical in their respective timelines. In the grand scheme of things, I would consider Ludger's ending the truly canon one. inFamous 1 & 2 taught me that a hero has a responsibility to the world and has to make any sacrifices, so sacrificing Elle would be hard, but weighing her against billions of other people makes it the obvious choice. Who's to say Origin still would've thought humanity failed after Ludger sacrificed himself? Origin basically spared humaity on a whim and that's a risk no one could've really taken. Plus, Victor was just an alternate Ludger, so in that timeline Ludger will see Elle again, being her father, and that way he could spare her the turmoil she went through in her timeline. I think both of those endings are equally happy in their own way and both have a fair share of bittersweetness.
Thing is l, it wouldn't be the Elle he traveled with. It essentially would be an entirely different person.
Xillia 3......yeah because they are really going to do that -_-
this is one of those "fill in the rest" type of endings (you are expected to use your imagination) .

Just finished the game and watched all three endings. I feel sad with all of them. What is it with Namco making the sequels have multiple endings which are all sad or touching or tearjerking!? First Knight of Ratatosk now this...T^T
So in the end, Milla leaves Jude. I am sad.
How many tales protag died counting the new games ...... while most of them are alive there are a few that actually died aside from this one.....

I doubt we will see a Xillia 3.
For starters, Tales of Xillia 2 failed to meet sales expection in Japan for Namco Bandai. (Even said, I'm glad we're getting the sequel along with Symphonia Chronicles).
So...does anyone if they're going to announce a new tales game? I would be surprised if they announced a Xillia 3.
