To clear things up/add some speculation (also cut content): - Yes, Lye is the one who ate Rem's name and memories, as well as Crusch's memories. - Sirius only thought Subaru was Petelgeuse because of the Unseen Hand, something he didn't have until he opened the sloth witch factor box and used it in the fight with Pandora and Regulus. - Sirius also said she'd spread Emilia's ashes over "her husband's grave" last episode. - Interestingly, Geuse didn't go by the name Petelgeuse until he went from being a bishop to an archbishop. (Pandora also called him Petelgeuse when she showed up with Regulus in Emilia's backstory) - Fortuna and Sirius also have different VAs which makes things even more confusing... - Regulus really is the Archbishop of yapping. Apparently his redditor speeches take up entire pages in the novel. - His name is Felix. Ferris is the nickname Subaru and Crusch call him. I'm pretty sure Felis is a mistranslation. (Much like Ram saying Balse instead of Barusu in S1 subs) - The waifu line is also a mistranslation. Pretty sure it's supposed to be bride. We can blame crunchyroll for that one. (again) - I was surprised to see that Capella has Lugunica in her name. (As in the Kingdom/Royal Family of Lugunica) - The royal family was also wiped out by an unknown plague long ago - Members of the royal family are said to have blonde hair, red eyes, and fangs - In S3 ep 1, Julius said a member of the Royal Family was kidnapped 15 years ago. I believe this is why Reinhard asked for her Felt's age when the insignia lit up in her hand. She said she was 15 in S1 ep 3. (Which is a year ago at this point) - In Season 2 cut content that explains how each witch died, Typhon (the Witch of Pride) was said to have drowned to death... - The natural deaths of these witches also imply that Satella didn't really kill them. (She might've only absorbed their power) - Al is in Priscilla's camp, but Priscilla is on good terms with Subaru in this timeline, so she might've ordered him to help. (There's also some MAJOR cut content from season 1 that explains Al's relationship with Subaru. I won't be saying it here in case they decide to cover it later)

Echidnut also has a video called "How Re:Zero season 2 really ends" where he describes one final important scene that was omitted from the season 2 finale. It takes place before the time skip so you should be fine.
