I grew up going to Cherry Grove every summer in the 1960's. At that time it was almost all just cottages, with a few small motels. Our big excitement was going to the rides at Ocean Drive at night. Looks like they're still there!
The Boulineaus own every store that has a red roof. The wife works at the Iga all the time and is a nice lady. Their 4 story yellow house by the marsh in Cherry Grove is very nice. I stay 2 months every year at Cherry Grove. Its the secret crown jewel of north myrtle beach. By the way the IGA has a great prime rib dinner every Thursday night that is cheap in price but darn good eating.
thank you. thats a lot of our purpose in creating them. we love to travel and look for similar videos where we are going. saves time when you are trying to look & drive.
I used to live on 39th ave in Cherry Grove. Played as a solo musician there in the 80's There was a CT's nightlife and a Maritime Beachclub i did house gigs at. Damn, i miss the 80's.
Thanks for sharing. Remember spending many weekends at Cherry Grove in the late 60s and early 70s. We would check in with Mr Mccloud.

Also, there was a Jacks Oyster Roast where $499 could get all you can eat seafood plus free tea.
when I got here jacks was a shell of a building, now all you see is the concrete floor by the marsh.
