Had PSA test and my BP at the time was 240/130 / high result was put down to “white coat syndrome” however now on a course of Almlodipine, BP now down to 126/80
I was 230/130 and they hospitalised me, keeps yoyoing but ok now on the pills, such a killer!!@@shedend7592

Total respect and admiration for you being so open about this. Age related conditions will catch up with us all in one way or another. And, no matter how healthy you think you are, all men over 50 should regularly get a prostate check - it's relatively simple now, as you demonstrated, it's just a blood check. Gone are the days of it requiring you to drop your pants.

It’s fantastic what you are doing 👍👍. I am 62 I enjoy a pint but only have 2 or 3 a month I weight train and go heavy about 5 days a week ( that naturally increases testosterone) I study nutrition, that is so important!! People,,, please learn about your vehicle which is your body!! Eat beetroot, leafy greens, rocket is the best. Eat watermelon, all high in nitrates!! Eat them everyday!! Nitrates turn into nitric oxide in the body and dilates your cardiovascular system which reduces your blood pressure naturally, do not use mouthwash, it kills the good bacteria that turns nitrates into nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is what makes viagra work. Learn about your body and what it needs regarding nutrition. Don’t be a fat slob, get moving and start using one’s brain. Keep away from vegetables oil!! There are no bloody vegetables in vegetable oil, vegetable oil is omega 6 it causes massive amounts of inflammation in the body and that is the main root cause of death. Omega 3 and omega 6 levels should be the same in the body but the western diet omega 6 is 15 times higher than omega 3 😱😱😱. 70% of males are low in magnesium!! People, take magnesium, vitamin D3 and take zinc to reduce the size of your prostate. Or eat pumpkin seeds everyday. They are full of zinc and magnesium. Ps. I am 62, my blood pressure is always around 100 over 64 with a heartbeat between 43 and 47 and my dick is like a steel bar!! Please people get educated about fitness and nutrition, it will add 20 years on your life plus you will not look like a slug when you are naked!!

Hey Brother, that BP is what's causing the problem. I'm 62 and I was in the same boat. I went on the carnivore diet and started walking 8 kilometers a day. I've lost 20 kilograms in 9 weeks. I also started TRT therapy W/Anastrozole to keep estrogen down. It takes time but within months you can get back in the game. It worked for me. Start walking with a purpose, my BP went from 💀 to below nominal. 107/76 😀
I land in Thailand May 1st, for 5 months. I'll look you up when I get to Pattaya. Would be my pleasure to take you and the wife out to dinner.

Respect for sharing this! Staying away from alcohol and hitting the weights 3 or 4 times a week shortly and intens will help. I use L Citrulline on a daily basis, it improves bloodflow and keeps the vaines more healthy

very brave to talk about this subject in my case at 62 especially coming over to Thailand first time was nerves - I do take that gel stuff over there 30 minutes before and that helped me but when I am completely relaxed I do not need it - I do not drink much and eat fairly healthy and do go to the gym sometimes - it also depends on the girl and if you know her for a while it gets better

Trev your testosterone is bang in the middle of the normal range, i would really question if you need to take any more. Your biggest problem is your high blood pressure, that on its own can lead to erection problems. High blood pressure can damage your heart and lead to strokes, its not for nothing its called the silent killer. If that doctor let you walk out of his clinic without offering treatment then he is not doing his job.

Trev, I wish you well! I am 78 and have had similar problems, took my 21 year old grandson to pattaya in August! We found a bar on soi 6, and it had on site services, problem greatly relieved!

Good for you Trevor for being so honest in such a public forum. In the same vein, I am 54 and over a year ago I had surgery for prostate cancer, and now need injections in the "old man" to get him to function. Took me a full hour to work up the courage to do the first one, but it works most of the time. Hope it all works out for you (and your good lady wife :-) ), but seriously mate you need some help with your BP - don't ignore that. Look after yourself.

I'm 60 years old and have been on hormone replacement therapy for 4 years now. Everything has worked great since then. I lost weight and feel like in my twenties again.
