Surprised and pleased that Laura Plantation was open with some damage around and water standing. Always enjoy the drone shots. Thanks for all your hard work.
I visited this The Laura Plantation in the 90’s as part of a Metairie LA Plantation Row tour. The Laura Plantation stood out because at the time The Plantation Cabins were intact (Pre Katrina) I am African American and cried after visiting the SLAVES quarters because they had DIRT FlOORS. Slaves had a real tough time in America, but now ppl want to forget. SORRY, but we can not forget the struggles of African American’s history of SLAVERY.

But who wants to forget? Its a shameful part of our history but I haven’t seen anyone trying to forget it.
Nice! Thank you for sharing. Great video!!! :)
Very informative video...thanks.
Went here in june!! They have done so well in trying to restore the place. But by god it was hot!!
My family comes from this Plantation😢😢😢. Alot of bad things happened on this Plantation😢😢😢
Well they were not simply French but French and African
They were French creole.
The French influence is widely seen as a lot of the properties have pigeonniers.
Bad tour! Focus!
Boring
