I saw a LMP3 car first hand with the team practicing at Palm Beach Raceway in January 2021. I was very surprised how long these cars are. I love watching videos like this.
The bag of groceries in the Ginetta (4:40) is a nice touch. It demonstrates that the G61-LT-P1 is the perfect car to pop down to the Stop n' Shop. A lot of husbands might use that aspect to get their wives on board to purchase.
Would have been SO NICE to actually HEAR the interviewees! It would seem the microphone only picks up sound from what the LENS is pointing towards. A real shame as I would love to hear what these folks had to say. When I turned my speakers up ambient noise drowned out the voices. Great to see these new entrees though.

Ginetta is a great company of which the English home of motorsport can be proud. Imagine the sales and racing impact the brands can make in US and Asian markets when we finally become free.
I don't like the hyper car look at the front of the cars. I like the F1 look in the front because it improves aerodynamics and it looks better in my opinion. Kind of like the nose of the car to be F1.
Thats a walk through?? Cars only filmed on their right hand side. Cam just sliding back n forward, bck fwd, bck fwd. Boring!

These cars have no soul .....stop with all those weird expensive aerodynamics ......racing is just as exciting without it .....beyond the reach of regular folks ....Jim Hall knew the deal .....
Rocketman Couldn’t agree more, and no wonder I stopped watching motor racing years ago, and that says something from someone who raced at Kyalami in the ‘70s! It’s now all about aero this and aero that bullsh1t‼️
How can you blame these cars for being "too aerodynamic" then turn around and cite Jim Hall as the "real deal"? He was the guy with the "fan car" and active aero, lmao. The real issue is the amount of regulations. Jim Hall would have a heart attack if he saw a modern rulebook, which is about 10x longer than any rulebook of his era. LMP regulations are totalitarian and always have been. PS, I agree with you, these LMP cars have no soul. And these journalists fawning over them are a little sickening to hear. It's all so fake!

These new LMP3’s look the real deal. Very sleek and that extract 40-50bhp will make them very quick machines.
Ginetta has come a long way from humble beginnings
True to that.

beautiful cars, it would be nice to see them all competing at the Elms next year!
I love these LMP3's! With Hypercars coming soon, this is the future of prototype racing.
If that Ginetta goes as well as it looks, the others are in trouble.
Beautiful! Can hardly wait for the next season!
Thanks for sharing this Graham. Also, that Ginetta looks amazing.
Ligier JS P320 all the way. Love that car!
These are going to be the most important LMP cars ever.
That's not saying much.
wow. amazing looking machines!
GINETTA LOOKS GOOD
I love it! 460 horsepower!? I love that powerup!
Ginetta has cameras instead of mirrors?

What are the specifications of these 2020 LMP3 cars?
The only time we've ever seen the Adess in public...
(Not counting the chassis that were used for hydrogen test cars)
Nope - we have seen a car at a Michelin LM Cup round and at Road to LM
Cool cars
Good stuff Goodwin!
Will these cars be able to run 8, 12, and 24 hour races?
They are capable of running 24 hour races. Even the CN prototypes are capable of running them without any problems.

Thank you for the video!!
One of those should be on IRacing in 2021
Well not in 2021 but in 2023 but there you go 😂
Daytona prototypes from america will be part of if the lemans hypercar series in future too. That new class will have more hp then these cars have
so ballpark... what are we talking for one of these?

Gotta go with ginetta......bcause im a leeds lad.
i hope they get to make a new road car someday. the JS2 was a great looking exotic.
Beautiful and cheap for a race car!
Will they still be v8's?
yes they just replaced the vk50 with the vk56 so it's basically another version of the same engine that has more displacement
I did not know Ginetta was an actual brand I always thought it was fiction I will admit
Norma?
Duqueine Engineering bought Norma
Idk, these new cars look like replicates of Audi R18 and Porsche 919. Hope Ginetta has a good performance, so the others will stop copying precedents.
Well, they all try to use the best aerodynamics. And its one of the best with the lmp restriction
Beautiful details on these cars but god, the basic shapes are so ugly. Great coverage, it’s the first time I’ve seen this channel.

Then watch F1 aand learn more about aerodynamics
