No but really! when darkening colours instead of black to make them dark use complementary colours! Sooo for example to make a dark red use green! 💖

@UCtRPclUR1F3kt0GCv1VrsDA If you use black the colours become "muddy" and dull (unless that's what you want the colour to look like lol). I was taught this way through out high school and college! :)

the way you get smooth transitions is, you go from thick layers all the way to really thin layers
