This is really wonderful. Thanks for sharing this with us. Ya know...I can now say that I am officially as old as dirt and sadly I have never had the opportunity to witness a gay wedding. I live in a place where that seldom if ever happens plus I have very few gay friends and even fewer that are anywhere near getting married with anyone so, thanks for giving me a taste of what it must be like. When I was growing up and realizing that I was gay, marriage was the last thing I thought possible.....Flying cars?... Yeh that seemed possible....Sentient robots and warp drive? Sure why not....Getting married to another man?...Never would happen. Yet, here we are. This looked so beautiful, so natural. It was as if there was never a time when this wasn't possible....The faces in the crowd were exactly what you expect at a ceremony honoring the love and happiness of two people. I may never personally experience anything like this in my life but it's nice to know that it's out there somewhere for someone. Thanks again for sharing this moment.
Well put. My husband & I were together for 33 years before we were able to get married in 2014, and never thought it would be possible. I only wish that my parents could have lived to be there. My mother died 2 years too soon, but my brother and sister were there AND picked up the tab for the wedding dinner after! It was magical & I start every day with "Morning, HUSBAND"! I'm happy to have lived long enough to see it. :D

You could only get so much of the beauty from the live stream they did on Instagram, so it’s nice to get a better picture of how lovely it all was. Matthew and Michael seem like two genuinely nice people, and I hope they have years of happiness together. PS. The two of you singing together at the end was just adorable!
