Hi Muzamil, I've been following maharang baloch since a very long time & it would be great to see you both sit together to understand the current dichotomy in perspectives through the eyes of Balochi people and thought leaders like yourself from outside the region! (Also, loved listening to this - all eyes are definitely on balochsitan, and we must collectively ensure this transition to be a socially just and equitable one that honours the interests of the locals)
her missing person list is decreasing from last 4 months since BLA conducted many operations and failed .
We know army is corrupt and so many innocents went missing just under suspicion, but the other reality is many are abducted or being trained by BLA n RAW and you wont see maharang speaking about other side .
May she wake up to the reality of geo-political game and the stakeholders benifiting from local insurgency and may she try to resolve the actual issue of local grievance with wisdom and foresight without being manipulated by the narrative buildup for hindering Balochistan's progress & promoting instability. Ameen.
Baloch people are simple many of them are uneducated but they are proud people and that pride is being used against them to hinder their own progress.

The so-called military establishment is an integral part of the so-called international establishment. Yes, balochistan militants have support from Washington, London and tel-Aviv and to a lesser extent New Delhi.

1) level of education in the general public
2) Rampant smuggling (Iranian oil is being sold literally everywhere)
3) The sentiments and hopes of the local population.

It doesn't matter how many mountains of Gold and Copper are there.
It is naive of you to think anything good can come out of Baluchistan until its taken back from Army and comes under civilian rule, governed by locals who are elected by locals by fair election (not selected).
Provincial and Federal civilian Govt (not military) should figure out solution for insurgencies and talk to neighboring countries to bring peace in province.

And also the brutal atrocities inflicted upon them by'Na maloom Afraad', the brutality of fascist state agencies, and corrupt forces. We recall the kidnapping and murder of innocent students. We acknowledge the grave injustices faced by the people of Balochistan. They hold a special place in our hearts, and we pray that they will soon be free from this evil occupation and oppression, Insha Allah.

Iam an expat in USA from Lahore following Riku Dik for years and my heart cry’s how we screwed this amazing resource due to our incompetence. Mining is centuries old profession and those resources of Gold and copper are not too complicated but due to our typical short sightedness we are going to give trillions of dollars of minerals for almost nothing. Now these crazy ppl screwing again by giving away their shares to Saudis they should have kept their shares itna ro ro ker ek unhealthy contract sey nikley they now again going into a stupid contract with Saudis.

Brother I think Balochistan should be divided into 3 to 4 regions for administrative purpose bcz this province has huge land and less administrative capacity.this will be also game changer for region prosperity. I am greatly impressed by your lecture in Mirwais Khan, but I myself am from Balochistan, Alhamdulillah, there are many minerals in Balochistan which are enough for the development of Balochistan.But people don't have much interest like Chromite, Kohla and etc. By interest, I don't mean that people don't take out, but not to work with them, and similarly, don't take out a factory and many other things. In which he can't use but is sending only for money and inshallah when we go he will make some change because right now I am studying.

Hi, so I watched your video and I had a few things to say about it,
First I don't think the gold and copper mine will be using energy from the national grid, since half of balochistan even nowadays gets it's electricity from Iran,
Secondly while China is a very big economy if you see the data post covid China isn't growing that much and with a very aging population consumerism won't really last long in China.
Thirdly yes America is looking inwards and will eventually move away from this region and then there will be tug of war between different powers (Iran Saudis even Us) to control this area.
And lastly if you have traveled to Northern Pakistan specially to Hunza you will see that from Nov-March there can't really be any cross border trade due to weather conditions there

Iran is only surviving on their gas and fuel. My pov is, Balochistan shares the same terrain as of Iran then why don't we invest in drilling in Balochistan for gas and fuel as it would be a free source of energy if we find some reserves and Pakistan shouldn't even fear of any international sanctions. Sui gas was also discovered in Balochistan. I think Balochistan is more important for Pakistan than Kashmir from economic point of view.
how can you say that govt. of pakistan will give 15% of gold mining project share to Balochistan? Still local people of balochistan is suffering previous agreement of SUI project. There is no any priority of local people.

Learn from Congo and other African nations. They are exporting a lot of raw materials. But People are dying from hunger and elite is pocketing billions. So dont expect much from Pakistani elite. They will sell minerals and raw materials to foreigners and locals will suffer just like Africans.

I'm wondering how the mining of Rare-Earth Metals (REMs) will affect our relationship with China seen as China is currently the largest producer of REMs. Will our REM reserves be valuable enough to the market so that customers can turn to Pakistan for REMs instead of China.
You talked about migration to Balochistan in the coming years and, as a keen language-lover, that raises Qs for me regarding the preservation of Balochi language. It is already a very small language in Pakistan by numbers and migrants from other provinces might dilute the presence of Balochi language.
Establishing trade corridors also allows us to project our soft power to people involved in trade transiting from Pakistan. We are very proximal to Central Asia with only the Wakhan corridor in the way. While we also have great cultural ties to Afghanistan and Iran.

I see no benefit in this for the common people of Balochistan who have been deprived of their rights. This is honestly just another cash cow opportunity for the generals, politicians and corrupt bureaucratese. That's my opinion.
