Been snowing for well over 12 hours up here in Sherman. It got a little above freezing but now it's back below and I can only imagine what the roads will be like in the morning
I'm just a little north of Houston and it's been raining fairly heavily since around 3 with pockets of pouring rain rolling through about every half hour. I'm glad it's above freezing but I'd be even happier if the rain would lay off 😂 enough already mother nature. I live not too far from a creek that almost always floods so I'll be extra cautious on my morning commute tomorrow. Once this rain stops the creek should be ok.
Really?? All you can do with predicting weather is exactly that - predict it. It’s not random, but it’s not a perfect science. You take known data and plug it into models that have proven to be reliable in the past, and it gives you a prediction. I’m not a weather expert in any way, shape or form, but I know that there’s an incredible amount of variables that affect weather.
What do you mean it's showing the whole state. Besides, we are just getting rain. The snow and ice up there are way more important than us. We're good, we getting some much needed rain. The ppl up north have to deal with a mess right now and are gonna have a mess on their hands in the morning. Makes sense to focus up there more

10:30 pm Constant cold rain here in Canton. No ice here since Mother Nature teased us at 4 pm. Bummer, I wanted Thunder Snow!

1.15 inches rain so far (8:40 PM Thursday) Tiny amount of occasional sleet that melts on impact.
here in Lubbock we barely got a inch so far.
Stayed just above freezing here in south Fort Worth. A little disappointed, was hoping to see more snow
