Just passed my CSCS exam, and blitzing through your videos was a fantastic way to review on the morning of the test. And coming from more of a bodybuilding+calisthenics background, programming for endurance athletes is definitely my weakest point, so this kind of content is much appreciated. Thanks, subbed for more!
@@TheMovementSystem Thank you ^^ And I suppose I shouldn't call soccer an endurance sport per se due to having quite demanding components for explosiveness and speed as well, but pretty much anything that involves more than 45 minutes of LISS cardio is considered an arduous endurance event in the bodybuilding realm, let alone soccer 😂😂😂 Going to have to reframe that terminology in my mind
Good work! I think you nailed the needs analysis and I agree if you specialize it a bit more for each position it can definitely make a difference on the pitch. I have a M.S in AES with CSCS, CPT and CE, I have trained soccer players for 10 years and have been a strength and conditioning coach for a semi pro soccer team
which of the following best describes what coronary arteries carry? A) Oxygenated blood from the pulmonary arteries to the aorta B) Deoxygenated blood from the myocardium to the pulmonary veins C) Oxygenated blood from the pulmonary arteries to the myocardium D) oxygenated blood from the aorta to the myocardium E) Deoxygenated blood from the pulmonary arteries to the aorta
I know this is more for pro-footballers, but I have a question based on "amateur footballers", playing 3-4 times a week 1 hour of indoor football. How much do you recommend to go to the gym per week to improve strength, speed and minimize risk of injury? And also what exercises do you recommend in those sessions?
We’ve heard about Football players do the Yo-Yo test and the VO2 max test in their pre-season medical . What do you think of the Lactate Test and FMS tests for a Football player?
From what I've observed, pro clubs are doing often all of the three tests you've mentioned but in case they are doing only one test, it's usually the Yo-Yo test.
Hey am studying Msc strength conditioning and Performance and working on this topic that is physiological needs analysis of football can you provide some EBP links for this ?
Strength is FORCE production,, FORCE production is universal to ALL sports,, There is no such thing as soccer strength or running strength or football strength,, ALL athletes should be squatting deadlifting bench pressing ,overhead pressing and power cleans,, aerobic capacity is built through running. You are a POSTER boy for the NSCA lol

Can you do one for baseball?
What is difference between strength and conditioning
They're both pretty much the same thing. Conditioning is when you train specifically for an event/sport. Strength, power, endurance, agility, etc.
@@Jordan-gz6xv "They're both pretty much the same thing" What!?
How heavy should you push the sled? How much weight should you use?
Amazing! @Matt
Do you have for volleyball?
what is your thought process about selecting the reps and sets based on the exercises
Hi anyway you can share that workout calendar
how do you overload the jumping and multidirectional exercises?
Hills, Bands, Weight Vests, etc
Great content, but why yoy arenot including soccer conditioning through the sessions ??
I would typically recommend to separate strength training and conditioning work to get the most benefit from each.
How to put the right volume ( number of sets and reps ) ?
Amazing. Can u do one for boxing or kickboxing. And also how do u do a workout for the whole class if I domt have time for Individual athletes?
Do rugby
Thanks!

What is soccer. Football for Gods sake.
Lol more than 50% of my audience is from the USA so I had to go with soccer to decrease any confusion
@@TheMovementSystem understood however it is the Yanks who coined the term soccer. Rest of the world accurately know it as Football.
@@diasalexandros6651it was the British that coined the term soccer. Please don't try to spread information if you don't know.
Average content actually, also doesnt even name the most popular sport in the world by its real name.
Just leave football to the rest of the world
Cry
You didn't name the sport by its full name either. It's Association Football.
