This channel deserves more credit, just watched 2 dope ass videos back to back. I remember this Monster Garage episode. Monster Garage was a joke though. lol! This was the best generation ever!
i will call your channel dawesawesomevideos ,not just dawesvideos.... there is some history in these videos that must never be forgotten, please keep uploading we must teach our kids some history when they grow up
Just the nostalgia from all this. Please keep them comin. Best account on TH-cam. Makes me wanna throw on some Dickies and some long black socks with some nautical stars.
Early to mid 2000's was the best Era in freestyle and will never be the same again... Innovation nearly everyday, a lot of money to be made, and the crowds were so pumped on it. Even though the tricks these days are video game tricks and it's at a much higher level, it just doesn't feel the same. I used to enjoy every bit with some nerves at times like during best trick. Now with some of these tricks and these new super kicker ramps on steroids, I'm paranoid I'm going to see someone die when I watch freestyle now. My friend is a pro freestyle rider and it's so gnarly..I'll hit a 75ft ramp and throw some whips and I've flipped in a pit (i'll never take it to dirt) but doing one in a pit and seeing what these guys are doing these days gives a whole different perspective..it's the scariest thing I've ever done and that's with a lit less risk. I found out foam pits aren't soft, they fuckin suck, hotter than hell, and its the only thing that makes me claustrophobic... and staying on the bike and landing upside down is the worst. You can't see, can't hear anything, time slows down and you're just hoping they're trying to get you put before you choke to death of 'Foam block dust' hahaha. Anyway, I wish we could go back in time... if we could to the early 2000's then I would take it to dirt so I could make bank during that Era lmao if I could do something with it I'd flip to dirt but sense everyone can do them and I'm not trying to make a living at it, it's just not worth the risk when things go wrong.
All those "donuts" around that bike lift, and nobody rode up on it, slammed the front wheel into the holder, and burnt it down.. woulda been dope, but still, this is awesome.. surprised deegan was the only one to lay it down on this slick ass concrete.. killer shit
Thanks for the love Dawes, and the content..i came up riding as a kid during the early mulisha days and here in West Virginia the old hillbillys don't know what to think about some wild ass kids with all black 250s, hacked fenders, and massive grab holes... we loved that shit and played our crusty vhs's until they shredded in the vcrs.. that Cali freestyle culture was perfect for some outkast kids looking for a style of our own.. nothing like a crew of dirt bike kidz, now grown into dirt bike dads.. thanks for doing your part, back in a time when it wasn't easy or about views and likes and shit
Yo that's badass man. I've always wondered how did you become twitch and the mulishas filmer? Did you guys grow up together and what year did you start filming with twitch?
I use to ride at a track that Morrison always rode at (Gorman). I started filming with him, Twitch, and everyone else back in 1999 than everything just kinda worked out after that.
@@dawesvideos that's pretty awesome man. I rode the hills in Gorman once the track was closed the day I went but that's hella cool just being able to hang out and film all the baddest dudes in the industry. I'm pretty jealous hahaha but can't wait to see more videos from back in the day. Thanks again for posting these man!
@@jordanazevedo1882 nice comment, totally agree with you, I always used to wonder bk in the day watching the old vhs vids if the dude filming rode dirt bikes aswell, I imagined that seeing them fly through the air would make you want to try urself, even though I have never met any of the mullisha watching them since a kid makes u feel like you know them, wen dirt bikes are a shared passion you know that it would be ace to just hang out with them dudes especially wen u are into the same pass times off of the bikes, ✌✌
I'm just confused at what the purpose is all I see is them circleing that red pad and the doing burnouts and wheelies around a warehouse.. what's supposed to be happening what us monster garage?????
This dude was making the best TH-cam videos before anyone knew what you tube was
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Amen to that 🤘
