extra efforts, did u watch this video carfully i planned to clim the hills late night and return back by shift time at 11 am 😃 but it didnt work i slept a bit so half day leave in 2nd have logined in from room 😁 after the trek to temple ( 13 hrs) with out rest worked for office till night 9 pm then took rest. If u want something u can do it 😁.

Wonderful video, I went to Vaishnodevi Mandir in September, not so much people that time as well. In Katra, I think it's not easy to get room reservation, also one must bath in Banganga before trekking, that Bhairav Mandir is an important place to visit, that you and me missed. Ardhkuwari, is where Mata Vaishno Devi did tapas, there's a cave which needs a reservation, so recommend to do it while going uphill. Everyone is nice, except CRPF. I went to Bhawan from Katra in five hours, but I ran and Ardhkuwari to Katra in one hour while coming. Food is good everywhere, if you're okay with North Indian food, I think dosai is also there. Every Hindu should see Mata Vaishno Devi once in their lifetime as it is a totally celestial experience, especially for us Tamils who have several shaktipeethams.

Have visited this temple 20+ years before when I was kid. Awesome experience and Dharshan at midnight. We travelled by mule while climbing up during day time and return by walk overnight. Thank you bro for making me re-live that memory again through this video.

Just wanted to tell you that you really missed a super view at Bhairav Temple by not going there from that point the actual slope starts while returning to Katra!!
Also you took the old route which initially climbs and decends after reaching Sanchichat the helipad or that prasadham stall.
There is a important fact that when you go to Vaishno Devi you should also go to Bhairav Temple as well, so that your journey to the Vaishno Devi temple is complete.

After 6kms of trekking from BanGanga. You can got lil incline way. From there you can get into Battery car service on charges of around 350-450/person.
