For softer peanuts , best use the slow cooker but it need electricity to boil for 3 hours (high) and 6 hours (low). For the thermal, best result would be if insulated at least 6 hrs. You can cook overnight and leave it to insulate and boil again when you want to drink. Hope this helps.
