Regardless of the flashiness of the vocals, drums and guitar, the bass carries this song from the opening notes to the end. Go Deaky!

I've watched this performance maybe 30-40 times and I never get tired of it.
Watching Freddie weaves his magic over the audience was amazing.
Live Aid: Live Aid was a dual-venue benefit concert held on Saturday 13 July 1985, and an ongoing music-based fundraising initiative.
The original event was organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for relief of the ongoing Ethiopian famine.
Billed as the "global jukebox", the event was held simultaneously at Wembley Stadium in London, England, United Kingdom (attended by 72,000 people) and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States (attended by about 100,000 people).
On the same day, concerts inspired by the initiative happened in other countries, such as the Soviet Union, Canada, Japan, Yugoslavia, Austria, Australia and West Germany.
It was one of the largest-scale satellite link-ups and television broadcasts of all time; an estimated global audience of 1.9 billion, across 150 nations, watched the live broadcast.
If accurate, this would be nearly 40% of the world population at the time. Unbelievable, just imagine 1.9 billion people watching this performance around the world.
Queen, stole the show and there were approximately 75 other acts performing during the program.
Can you imagine all of this?
Freddie wrote Crazy Little Thing Called Love as an homage to Elvis.
    Queen was recording in Munich.
Freddie was back at his hotel taking a bath when the idea for the song came to him.
He wrote the song in about 10 minutes and told his PA Peter (Phoebe, nicknamed) to call Roger and John and tell them to go to the studio to record the song.
If you guys were amazed by Freddie's energy in this 22 minute performance, you haven't seen anything yet.
Watch some of their concerts, now imagine Freddie entertaining the audience for 90-120 minutes.
    He was amazing and mesmerizing.
Queen is the best band and Freddie is/was the best front-man ever..........
    There can only be one!

So much passion and emoting from Freddie, Brian May's guitar singing plus Roger and John Deacon, equals an amazing live performance.

Great reaction video. I grew up on hip hop and R&B as a teen in the 90s. It has been quite the journey to experience Queen with fresh eyes and an openness to all types of music at my age now. John Deacon playing the bass line was just nasty!!!! Lol.

Dive deep... go back to their performance of “White Queen” from Live at the Hammersmith Odeon, 1975.
This is *totally* different from anything you’ve heard from them so far. The instrumental interlude in the middle features Freddie’s piano and Brian’s guitar intertwining in *sheer epic beauty*, ably backed and driven by John’s luscious bass and Roger’s powerful drumming.
It brings me to tears every time.

Subscribed!!!! By far my favorite reaction. I thoroughly enjoyed it!!! This band had so many layers. Love their live performances. Each one illicits different reactions. Such as this one that has such great energy to it. Take a look at their live performance of their song "white queen" live at the odeon hammerstein's 1974(I think. Somewhere around there). It is a phenomenal performance. I dont really care for the studio version of that song. But that live performance in particular is amazing.

John Deacon (the bassist) once stated that Dragon Attack was his favourite Queen song and it's not hard to see why. That bass riff, oww! Such a shame he could never be persuaded to do the bass solo live (there's a ripping bass solo on the studio recording but John wasn't much a fan of solos and only did it live once...when Brian broke a guitar string so he kind of had to). Love the energy of this song and reaction! Four geniuses at work!
