Ok what I literally love so much about this show is that it's just *accepting* . Alex is just accepted as being gay by everyone, *even the villain* , (as he should be) and it's literally only mentioned once that his parents weren't cool with it, as if it shouldn't be normalised. There are literally the same amount of black characters as white, toxic masculinity was *literally thrown out the window* and WILLIE WEARS A FRIGGIN CROP TOP AND NO ONE SAYS A GODDAMN THING. I love how inclusive this show is, with how they can create such relatable characters, but without making them too cheesy. Alex is gay, but it’s not his entire personality? I love that! The way they include all races without whitewashing, and actually let the masculine characters show emotions, and look human. And the way they show Alex using the drums as a way to cope with his anxiety, I just really want them to dive deeper into that in future episodes. I just love this show so much, I can’t wait for season two!!
I prefer that hug over a kiss any day. What I love about this show is the characters don’t have to kiss in order for us to see the passionate love they share. Alex hugging Willie and Perfect Harmony are great examples.
Coming two years later after the show was canceled and seeing all of these comments talking about the 2nd season and how they might get together is breaking my heart.

I love how inclusive this show is, with how they can create such relatable characters, but without making them too cheesy.
Alex is gay, but it’s not his entire personality? I love that!
The way they include all races without whitewashing, and actually let the masculine characters show emotions, and look human. And the way they show Alex using the drums as a way to cope with his anxiety, I just really want them to dive deeper into that in future episodes.
I just love this show so much, I can’t wait for season two!!

I prefer that hug over a kiss any day. What I love about this show is the characters don’t have to kiss in order for us to see the passionate love they share. Alex hugging Willie and Perfect Harmony are great examples.
Coming two years later after the show was canceled and seeing all of these comments talking about the 2nd season and how they might get together is breaking my heart.
