Me and buddies have our own guild, we do the same, we kill guild raids, loot goes to guild, then we gather in guild base and either roll for item, or give it to the person who took it. Annoying part is not to forget to switch the settings back, once I forgot and 2 days later I saw 3 items from field bosses in guild storage so I quickly sent items to people who they belong to and wrote a personal apology for them, they were not mad luckily 😅 as guild leader I have received 0 items in 20+ boss kills so far and one item I got was Morokais GS so I gave it to the most active person ❤
Because you could potentially be leeching. In this game even if you hit a boss once, you can still get loot. So it's not the same if you're alone hitting the boss, than with your Guild. What's shitty about this, is that you're up to whatever a random dude that feels god because he's leader, decides. And you just can't enter wealthy top tier guilds. Anyway, just do yourself a favor and stop playing this game, i just did and its totally worth it

Me and my partner have made our own guild and everyone keeps their own loot, I like the idea that lucent gets split between those who were there for the raid and everything, but at the same time if you got the drop you deserve it.

my guild is set to 5 min didn't know in the beginning until i saw my loot drop on the auction house anyway i do solo stuff and they got my solo world drop so now i have to check every time i do certain content to see if i need to claim my drop stupid we should get the drop and if we want to donate it to the guild the so be it that should be the default.
Founder of our alliance and guildmaster of our Main guild took all the loot and booted everyone from the main guild. He took 60k worth of lucent in items. Now the branch guilds are reorganising and making sure this doesnt happen again. We used to be in the top 5 of our server for a week, all 4 guilds, but after this half of our members went to different guilds and we lost the hardcore players.

Depend on the guild, I was lucky enough joining a guild that doesn't steal from it's member, the only drop that got directly to the guild was drop from guild boss, and then we distributed the drop fairly focusing on people that needed the item or contribution, basically everything is resolved in discord voice channel so no one really complaining so far.
It depends on the settings of the guild, if they have the 2nd setting like Nova's the guild does - 100% - if it has the 3rd setting members get the items - that means if you got it - it's yours - and if it has the 1st setting it's yours to claim within the first 5 minutes but if you don't claim then it goes to the guild - AND MORE IMPORTANTLY - if the GM decides they still want that item - they can kick you - you can't claim and they can take it - so the only really OK one in my eyes is the one that it goes to the members. - The crappy thing is - guilds can change this at any time.
Sounds like a system where ppl are taken advantage of, so don't join just any random guild because this might be the problem i am hearing why ppl are getting no loot, because that's a lot of trust to ppl that might have already greed issues and aren't bothered to be fair. Say tanks healers complaining they are not getting any loot maybe this is why as well.
Our guild is set to player loot, and we are part of the dominating alliance on our server, we came from a game where fixed parties and friendship is core, so we encourage those parties to share loot with their members and help each other grow, so if they dont want the item it Goes to guild after 5min and we sell it for the player they choose for 0 lucent, its a pretty good system but i think it only works because we have riftstone bosses everyday, 7 guild bosses per week and every single world Boss conflict or peace so the amount of loot is crazy. Ps this system made our guild so popular in our server that we never have slots for new peeps and we dont encourage multiple guilds with the same group of leaders.

Been in charge of my guild that is very casual. Kept it open loot and have had 0 issues but i was going to ask the core if we would like sometime for guild raids only have a chance to target loot farm for people who will actually use the weps. But thats only if a mass majority are on board. Otherwise has been best to just leave it on open loot so far.

Sometimes it's a casual guild with 10-15 people with strong bond like close friend who play this game, they made a guild, and set the drops to guild, just got an armor from world boss and it's not in my inventory, just realized it's gone to guild but there is nothing in the guild distribution/auction, I'll find a new guild 😊
As a new player who is already in a guild is it worth it to leave the guild and create own Guild? Most of my guild are not as active as i am! But on the other hand those people ive played with have helped me a lot whether its explaining certain things or helping me out with farming. Feeling guilty to leave them.
This is a problem of the game's own making. Just take out the option for loot to go directly to the guild. Change the timed before turning over to the guild option so that you can now click a button to take or turn over the item immediately. It should also be longer than 5 minutes just in case a dc or something. If they add the button to directly turn over items then it wouldn't make it any slower if a group decides to loot council.
What happens if the item is sold in the auction house ? how is the lucent ditributed ? can we bypass the system where the items cannot be sold in the auction house if one of the guys take it and make it litho or trait and then buys other items to give the lucent he made equally? in my guild we are all friends so we were wondering if we can do it this way

Depends on the guild bank configuration also, in my guild you have up to 5 minites to claim the loot that you pocled up and went to the bank, if you miss that window, then the item does go to the bank. But you can talk to the GM and tell them that you wamt the item and they will gove it to you (my guild works like that at least). Only exception is when we do the weekly guild bosses, then all the loot is rolled within the people that assisted to the bosses, regardless if you got a drop or not
I was completely unaware of this feature and just lost a drop to my guild so I posted a message in guild chat requesting the drop back but we will see what happens. I randomly joined this guild a few months back and haven't really spoke or played with any of the members besides the day I joined. This feature alone is making me want to quit the game altogether. No body should have the ability the swipe your drops or inventory for the "sake of the guild". Who thought this was a good feature for a game? You should have an option to donate to the guild only if you feel it is something you want to do and in turn you should get rewards for helping the guild in such a manner to incentivize people to help the guild and not be greedy. This is the dumbest thing I have seen implemented into a game since the invention of DLC and Battlepasses.

This is (imo) the SINGLE MOST IDIOTIC DESIGN CHOICE in the game. And well one of the few things I have an issue with since otherwise I'm having fun in the game and even dropped a stupid ammoung of money on cosmetics... lol. Yea the system is fucked, we had a leader and his ekittens take all the loot after promising to share with everyone, they only gave away blue gear. Started a riot with my friend and called them out for it, got kicked just to find out a day after the guild got deleted as they transfered servers with everything on them. We made a new guild and are now running it fairly
Im a guild leader and im trying to figure out how to do these settings currently i have to the guild for epic equipment and not to guild for miscellaneous my thinking was getting the loot seeing who got it and if the weapon fits there build if not give it to another that needs it and contributed.

What you can do is sell these items over time to then buy the gear you do need. What if you get an item that you can sell and then buy your BiS weapon with? What’s your stance on that?
Guild leader should manage all loot coming into guild chest. You wouldnt even be able to participate in any pvp event/world bosses if you arent apart of a strong guild. You shouldnt get a BIS item for doing minimal work either. However, you should definitely distribute the loot amongst your guild mates, even if they didnt participate instead of putting gear up in auction house, thats some scumbag shit lol

Nova I like your videos and your voice/cadence but haha might be a stretch to call this one the ultimate loot guide since you aren't super familiar with the other settings. That said, it is good you are making a PSA about it - I don't feel like other content creators are doing enough to FYI people about it - and it's very clear to me - it's being abused to "steal" from people.

I made my own guild and my friends are the ones in it so only 4 people in total if any of my guild mates get a drop and it goes to the guild loot ima just give that shit to whoever got it in the first place I don’t care if I need it and he or she doesn’t need it they got it so it belongs to them they can scrap it or sell it for lucent I have no say in that and I prefer to earn my items now if a guild mate says hey I got this item it went to the guild chest I don’t need it so check if someone needs it ima then see if any of my guild mates need it if no one needs it then ima just ask the person if they want to sell it themselves for lucent also I’m recruiting people to my guild it is a new guild it’s lvl 3 if ya wish to join the name is Crimson Minotaurs

Got robbed had a chernobog would of loved it for my sns build the guild leader sold it took all the lucent did it with 2 other weapons aswell then got upset we didn't want to play with him anymore guy stacked 17000 lucent for himself then offered 3 people 500 then was messaging us why did you leave

This is (imo) the SINGLE MOST IDIOTIC DESIGN CHOICE in the game. And well one of the few things I have an issue with since otherwise I'm having fun in the game and even dropped a stupid ammoung of money on cosmetics... lol. The forced pvp annoys me as well, but that's just a choice I don't cate about, plenty of people who enjoy pvp so I just ignore as much as I can but it's whatever. But the guild loot stuff is stupidity took to a peak beyond infinity.
And omg as I write this I hear his justification for this and is just so idiotic hahaha. Unsubing and blocking lmao what a Noron :))

Yea the system is fucked, we had a leader and his ekittens take all the loot after promising to share with everyone, they only gave away blue gear. Started a riot with my friend and called them out for it, got kicked just to find out a day after the guild got deleted as they transfered servers with everything on them. We made a new guild and are now running it fairly

Im a guild leader and im trying to figure out how to do these settings currently i have to the guild for epic equipment and not to guild for miscellaneous my thinking was getting the loot seeing who got it and if the weapon fits there build if not give it to another that needs it and contributed.

Majority of the time, drops you get aren’t gonna be for your build. What you can do is sell these items over time to then buy the gear you do need.
What if you get an item that you can sell and then buy your BiS weapon with? What’s your stance on that?

Guild leader should manage all loot coming into guild chest. You wouldnt even be able to participate in any pvp event/world bosses if you arent apart of a strong guild. You shouldnt get a BIS item for doing minimal work either. However, you should definitely distribute the loot amongst your guild mates, even if they didnt participate instead of putting gear up in auction house, thats some scumbag shit lol
