Okay you gave me permission to vent so I will: I’m most sad that my university graduation has been cancelled and I’m sat trying to complete my degree at home instead of with my friends :(( it feels like this time that i’ll never get back has been snatched from me and it sucks. But I’m grateful that my family is safe and well, and I know things could be so much worse. Hope you’re doing well 💓

I am in the same situation! Our university cancelled our graduation but we started a petition for it to just be postponed for later in the year which the uni has agreed to! (as long as everything is ok by then!) Maybe something similar could be done with your graduation? x
I’m sorry this special time has been snatched from you! ❤️ Maybe when this is all over you and your classmates could organise a big celebration? Maybe even rent a place if everyone chipped in? You can make your own memories that will still be special, even if not quite what you had expected. ❤️ I know it probably won’t help but my graduation wasn’t what I thought it was going to be (we were a small group and by the end only two of my friends sat their final exams and one didn’t pass and the other didn’t attend grad) but I still cherish all the other special Uni times I had. ☺️ Good luck with the rest of your work!

I know it's hard, but try and think of it as being safe inside, instead of stuck inside. A little change in word choice might gradually start making you feel less trapped by it. You are doing this for yours, your daughter and the wider communities safety
This has made me feel so happy and peaceful
I’ve had a lot of anxiety and just can never shake the sense of dread. It’s like every time I wake up it just gets worse and worse but I’m trying to keep myself occupied. I’m trying to accomplish goals I set a while ago and probably actually put effort in to doing TH-cam and recreating my Instagram feed! Seeing your videos for some reason always motivates me and cheers me up!
try and also get some movement in. throw yourself a dance party :) it helps calm my anxiety

Delilah is the politest little angel. I love your videos, we are completely different. I’m covered in tattoos and have stretchers with no children, living in Australia. But I’ve been watching for over 6 years, and never commented. both my parents and all grandparents have passed and I’m only 22 so isolation is really hard for me. Your videos are the one thing that have gotten me through the years. Sending you so much love during this hard time xx

This is the content my soul needed. I am one of the 1.5 million people in the U.K. who are shielding, I haven’t left the house in 22 days, for even one minute! The government have asked me to stay home until June 15th. I screamed into my pillow this morning.
Your channel brings me so much joy! This entre pandemic has really hit my anxiety hard and for 3 weeks at home, I felt horrible. I thought it was anxiety-induced "symptoms" from reading too much of the news and such... turns out after begging to be checked at the hospital (they didn't think I needed it because of my history with anxiety) that I do in fact have moderate pneumonia. I’m still working as a teacher in school with key worker children, Nursery age children. It’s hard because it feels risky and it is only going to get worse. I probably won’t have my full class of children back until July, if that. makes me feel sad but it’s necessary. Just a few tips re. Letters and sounds for Delilah...Look up phonics phase one and two activities. She will not be expected to know letter names (alphabet ABCs) at school (reception) but she would benefit from understanding and participating in all phase one phonics activities. These include things you already do like musical instruments and rhyming/alliteration. It helps her to tune into sounds, beats and syllables ready for reading and writing. Then you could move onto letters sounds which are called phonemes (phase two phonics).
It’s so sad thinking she may never go back to preschool or see her childminder (who’s had her since she was a year old) again. Thanks so much for the advice 😊
The rainbows in windows is such a nice thing to do. I saw lots as I walked to the hospital for work and it made me tear up. It’s the little things that brighten people’s days
In Australia around where I live we have a similar thing to the rainbows, but instead they call it a 'bear hunt' & leave teddy bears in windows and hidden in gardens etc
My daughter is OBSESSED with paw patrol. We had to have a paw patrol birthday party this year and all of her presents are paw patrol themed. 😂😂 She especially loved her scooter. Apparently she uses it to race Ryder to the lookout 😂😂

My town does window themes and my mom and I have been using acrylic paint mixed with soap to paint our windows in accordance with the theme of the day. It comes off pretty easily with soap and water. It’s really lovely to see everyone smile and point at our windows when they’re out for a walk :)
I’ve always loved your vlogs even since I was in high school watching your fashionrocksmysocks days🥰 I’m a 1st grade teacher now and I must say Delilah is such a independent little girl now it’s been such a treat to watch her grow🌻 Also as you’re at home there’s tons of teaching resources that are currently available for free as everyone is home I love education.com, happynumbersmath, and nursery songs on TH-cam kids is always no fuss 😊

Watching a year later. It was amazing how many months puzzles in the US were sold out or pricey on Amazon last spring. You were smart to snatch some up right away.
USA viewer. On day one of our social distancing with kiddos out of school we noticed that there was water in our laundry room. Realized it was coming from the water heater. It had a leak at the bottom. We cleaned it up and hoped for the best. Of course it got worse. Of course we had to have it tended to by a professional. Not that anyone wants to have anyone unknown in their home during this uncomfortable time. The professional doesn't want to be exposed to you either. In the end it all worked out well & fairly quickly. We are so grateful for the plumber who came and replaced our unit. He was amazing and we are blessed to be able to handle the cost of it during a time when all work and some pay has been interrupted. Please stay safe and remember how fortunate we all are.

NZ went into lockdown last Wednesday and will remain this way for the next month, we're also only allowed to leave for essential supermarket shopping and for neighbourhood walks. I'm already starting to get cabin fever :( I'm feeling so thankful for your videos and those of other creators which have made these days feel a lot less lonley xxx

honestly watching you and delilah playing is one of the most cathartic things ever to consume just now. babies playing and being happy reminds me that life is still going on!
I'm feeling pretty stressed but trying to be calm about it and use my toolkit of things that make me happy and feel more normal. I've opted to do an extended placement as a I am a Student Midwife in the NHS, it's going to be a full on next six months of the unknown but the way women and birthing people are currently being treated during this pandemic is tricky.
This content however is so wholesome and cheered me up! Thanks Rhiannon 🙂

We live in NY. It's getting bad. I have a 5year old girl and 3 year old boy. Havent left our house going on 3 weeks. Trying to be strong for them but my husband is not working he sadly had to close his restaurant. Hard times. Just hoping that everyone stays healthy and continues to be smart about this.

I gave birth to my first baby almost two weeks ago. I’m so happy we’re home right now. Couple of days before the birth, we found out the hospitals in my country banned everybody from delivery rooms, including husbands, and visiting was obviously also prohibited. It was really tough mentally - we wanted to experience everything together and the reality was I was alone and my husband saw us two days later, when we left the hospital. But the most important thing is we are together now. I don’t know when the grandparents will get to meet our son though...we send them pics and videos everyday. It’s such a crazy time...

Thank you so much for uploading. i've been feeling really low since Friday...i think its the prospect of potentially this lockdown being extended being home alone for even longer. I really needed something to soothe me today, i took a half day 'holiday' and i'm back in bed with a cup of tea and a biscuit and your videos really do soothe me. I’ve been feeling very anxious on and off over the last few days. Been trying to keep a handle on it but woke up in the middle of the night in a panic attack sweating. Feeling a lot better today but trying to work on strategies to cope with the anxious feelings. Hope everyone else is managing ok where possible, but I’m realising that it’s ok to have a down day or a down week at anytime, but especially during this time. Anyway, your videos really make me happy and feel very chilled out ❤️ sending lots of love
I’m struggling with the uncertainty of how long this will take, riddled with anxiety that someone I love may fall sick and die, and missing my partner like mad, he’s a nice safe place of mine, and him dropping off my shopping and not being able to hug him to say thank you is just awful. 😔

I truly am blessed during this time, I’m still working and being paid fully. I work in Public Relations at a childcare center so it’s been crazy. Though I can’t help but feel sad that I cannot see my family for the Easter holiday. They live about 3 hours away from me and I know it’s best I don’t visit. It’s just sucks because my twin niece and nephew are 3 and finally old enough to grasp all the fun of Easter and I won’t be there to experience it with them as usual 😞 But again, I’m healthy and safe with my fiancé who is also able to continue working. I can’t help but feel sad for those who have actually lost during this time. I’ve followed you since the beginning and you’re truly chicken soup for the soul lol! 💖 much love to you, Doug and lil Delilah

Get ready for a rant... my Nanna went into a nursing home today- she has MND (google it, it’s too much of a pain to type) and I’m grieving over that the fact that she has it and now she’s in the home I’m glad she’s safe, even if it is sad.. I’ve come down with symptoms :( mild may I add- cough, sore throat, fever and body feels so tired. It all started yesterday with a cough and then things got worse with the sore throat and fever. I have to be off for two weeks, being a care worker I’m hating the fact that I can help the residence’s on our normal routine as there has been no cases in the home. But I guess once I get over it I won’t get it again- that is right? And then I can freely help those- if they get it. Really hope they don’t. So far it’s been clear I hope it stays that way. It’s such a tricky time, I had to message my dad to get me paracetamol, and I spoke to my step mum to brought the pills over through my bedroom on the top floor of our block. That cheered me up feeling the breeze and talking to her. I need healing sent to me and prayers. Thank you in advance, I’m determined to deal with this at home. Drinking so much water I’m peeing like there’s no tomorrow- probably a good thing flushing it out of me?🤞🏼🤞🏼
In lockdown in Ireland. Been home since 13th March. I feel angry today. Anger at how this can happen.
Feeling so depressed. I'm working for the NHS doing 35+ hours a week. I can't see the guy I'm dating, these weeks are supposed to be exciting but its far from💔 Not sure how long i can do this... its a nightmare. ☹️

I can only imagine 💔 you’re stronger than you think and although it seems a long way away, things will get better. Take each day (or even hour) as it comes, look after yourself the best you can and don’t be afraid to talk to a colleague or your manager if things get really hard. You and everyone else working for the NHS are amazing x
