- The game is still nascent and we won't truly know what see elite level play until we have dedicated servers for PUGs and tournaments. That said, I was lucky enough to play some decent matches in the most recent playtest with some of the best Tribes 1, Tribes 2, and Tribes Ascend players of all time.

I remember a few of the names I see in the video from a couple matches that were over in 2 minutes, good times. Tribes seems to be one of the only competitive style fps games where even getting completely steamrolled wasn't annoying, just impressive.
I was so bummed we didn't have a few more good people our team that game. Literally they had 7+ of the best Tribes 1 and Tribes Ascend players of all time on the their team, we had APC and Vaxity and... Me 😬
@@omgitsfishstix I could definitely tell the difference when in a lobby with veterans vs newer players. Had one game with a few people that had acd in their name on the enemy team, and it lasted a whole 2 minutes. As soon as someone grabbed the flag and capped, someone else was perfectly timed to grab on reset all at max speed. I can't wait for this game to return
Hi all, I wanted to get this rough cut of a couple of the best matches we played in the final Tribes 3 Playtest of 2023 out before I left for a new years trip. I had some issues with a few of the matches, and no time to edit, but hope you enjoy! Lots of good players in each match.

You have to be kidding me. @FishStix I am an old Tribes 1 vet from the OGL days and shoutcast covered clanwars. Is there any comparative to this now? I was on [RZA] and worked with [iC], one of the best Cappers was Pr0digy at the time. I went by blastking and zemesis
OGL is old-school af, I only played a few matches on OGL before everyone moved to TWL. There is a tournament brewing right now.

Is there any big difference to the crossbow or is it just a spinfusor with arc like in T:A?
Yup. Same deal as T:A for the most part.
where are the vehicles?
Do the fusors not gave velocity inheritance?
Some fusors have velocity and others don't. Apparently they might give us options for different velocity inheritance levels.

I ran at 6k bitrate. Maybe I need to go higher?
i'll play it and possibly buy it but if its just barebones LT again like Legions Fallen Empire/Overdrive and whatever T:A was doing its gonna crash and burn. It needs to make money and making everyone play at pickup game level isnt going to work. Think back to T:A, all the rave reviews, very high reviews across the board, but it was patchless in 6 months after launch.
