Thanks so much for your thorough explanation and of course for sharing your settings.
My pleasure. Thank you for watching ;)
Bravo da Italia 🇮🇹 🎉
Awesome tutorial! Thanks for including the settings. Also didnt realize xtool had an accessory kit for the RA2....... Keep up the great work!
Glad I could help!
Really enjoyed your video! New Subscriber and I'm even going to see what else you have on the F1!
Welcome aboard!
Dude, Thank you for the version for dummies like me. So many folks do demos and don't even include the settings! Your vid is exactly what I was looking for, as I plan to do some shot glasses, beer flight glasses and pints. I am going to order the chalk paint (spray) and give it a go. Probably gonna get the accessory attachment too. I didn't even know they had that.
One question: Was the design you did a bitmap or vector image? I have found that there is a big difference in processing depending on the type of image. Thanks in advance.
The shot glasses look great! BTW, I ride, too (2015 RG CVO).
Anyway, I subscribed and look forward to you future vids.
Good Luck!
Best,
M
Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching. I tent to always use vector images. Bitmap is not the best IMO.
@@AlivePixelCreates I wish I could upload a picture, but I had pretty good results using your technique on a shot glass using a raster image (both .jpg and .png files).
DD: 800
P: 100%
DPI: 400

If you are stuck using a raster, try this as a starting point. Again, thank you for your video.

Friend thank you for your information
Is the spray only available from this brand?
Are other brands available?
There are other brands but the important thing is that it needs to be chalk paint.
Beautiful shot glasses, and great video. I have been using chalk spray paint, but not having much luck, using the restore. I wonder if it is the color? I will try looking for the type you are using. Anyway great video Sir
Thank you so much for the comment. The links of what I use on the video are in the description in case you need it :)
Have you ever heard of blazer orange from Ikonics? I’ve been trying to use that to engrave glass and it isn’t working. I’ve seen videos online where it does, but I can’t figure it out.
@@medic458 yes is a laser mask. You use your laser to create a mask and after that or paint or use a sandblasting. Is not a marking tape.
Well, that makes sense why i'm having so many problems. I've seen videos that do the sandblasting, but I've also seen them use it to engrave. I'm going to try the chalk you mentioned. Thanks for your help!!

@@medic458 the one I ordered from Amazon is on the description. :)
I keep trying to do these and my shot glasses keep breaking. Have you encountered this?
That usually happens when the laser is too slow.
6 per hour? How much for each glass?
depends your buyer and or details, yo can make them faster, each if is not a bulk order $10 to $12 a pair
What is the proper way to remove the chalk spray or is it just a bitch every time?!
Just warm water should do. Make sure you didn't got chalkboard paint.
