Hi guys, As usual, we love the roadside fruit stand. Marie got sad when she saw Dazel and Leana shopping because she was reminiscing about days gone by. Happy New Year from our house to yours. Let us make 2025 a good one, and we love you all.
@@horacesubayar794 We mostly buy our fruits from roadside fruit stands. Usually better deals than the public market. Aww; tell Marie don’t get sad. When you guys visit us; Dazel, Leana, and her can go shopping. 😁 Take care our friends. Yes! Let’s make 2025 a good one! We love you both. Happy New Year!
Life in the Philippines is an adjustment and a different state of mind. Something I haven't quite gotten use to yet, but I'm getting there. In many ways, people move slower, take longer, and enjoy life more. They love parties and get togethers with food, music, and drinks .. but can work just as hard. HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!
@@doughenderson4345 You will get there my friend. It is an adjustment for us all. I tell people all the time that slowing down after living in the U.S.; takes time. I lived in the fast-paced U.S. lifestyle for 30 years before moving here 13 years ago. I just couldn’t all of a sudden be a laidback island person. It took time for me too. But now; I embrace the island time. I love it! 😁 Happy New Year my friend.
Every year (30min south of Scott AFB) we begin the hunt for round fruits two weeks before the holidays. 12 different round sweet fruits are a real challenge to find here. Happy fruit hunting.
We didn’t get watermelon. The cantaloupe looks a little different here than the ones I’ve had in the U.S; we didn’t get cantaloupe. We ended up getting 3 kinds of grapes, big papaya, oranges, poncan, pomelo, and calamansi. 😁 The mocha kisses cake that we got was delicious! 😋

The watermelon looked so good, the cantaloupe looks little different did you get any of it ? Your cakes cost what 1 slice cost in the USA.
