I highly recommend that all people from New England take the awesome ride on Cog Railroad up Mt . Washington . The view is the most thrilling and breath taken any one can have .
the thing to do was to have let Nigel Day continue his research and work on #9 and further improve the efficiency of the locomotives, not discard his work after the first try and claim that it is not functioning correctly, when in reality the operators were incompitent with the technology. Those locomotives had alot of potential. A far better one could have been built using spare parts from the old ones you have no intentions of running anymore. By the way Cog, since those travesty tractors are so green quick and efficient, why not lower the price to something lower than 70 dollars a person for a ride?
This railway has nearly lost all of its character through the introduction of the Diesel locos, which, in my humble opinion, are outright ugly looking monsters.
