Exactly why I don't film (or even ride) wheelchair lifts. I've seen so many videos of them getting stuck it's not funny. Not sure why so many of them do so. Maybe they're just made cheap. The worst part is if you get stuck somewhere in the middle, you're screwed. If you're stuck in one that travels a short distance (like this one), you're lucky to be able to use your climbing skills to get out. If you use your own key on one that's supposed to be locked off, get stuck and can't get out, and have to call to for help, then there might even be trouble.
I agree. Not only that, but there is the matter of common courtesy for those that actually need to use it. Most elevator photographers do show respect, a few do not. Just saying.
I don't think I should trust Concorde wheelchair lifts because I've seen another video of these lifts and another guy got stuck just like you. On the plus side I hear my favorite radio station in the background LOL!

Most of the ones I’ve seen have broken down at least once
i call wheelchair lifts platform lifts and when i was young i called it a disabled
lift

Wheelchair lifts aren’t just for wheelchairs. They are also people who carry things on carts that can’t run them on stairs.
It's just like the American Lift at the Museum of Flight (where I volunteer). It always has a Delay Start or doesn't start right away.

Jordan Lowe ElevaTours Canada I do trust some of their LULA elevators if they run fine.
Why is that even there ? It only goes maybe 2 feet, a ramp would serve just fine and ramps never fail, lol

These wheelchair lifts are probably some of the sketchiest elevators out there. They are very unreliable.
