Same thing happened to me ...Bought it for a 12.5 midlenght barrel with superlative arms piston kit specialy due to the larger id (1.72") to fit the piston kit under it but discovered it was too long for my barrel and that forced me to get a ferfrans crd comp ( 1.6"od ) because the end of the barrel threads sat flush under it . It looks really mean so I ended up liking the set up after all . Nice review!!
I'm building an Aero 10.5 right now.. just waiting to decide on my barrel before buying the handguard. I would like to keep it all Aero.. but saw something called Stinger Hawk handguards.. man they look nice.
What length barrel were you going to put on it? I'm looking at this handguard with a 10.5" barrel and a 2.125" comp. Would that clear the end of the handguard?
@@Unplugged704 personally I think it depends on the build. If you’re building an ar pistol it’s probably better to have that hand guard flush with the beginning of the comp so you have more real estate to grab on to.
NO!!! you NEED an enhanced Aero upper, you can buy these for a standard upper and it costs like $15 less, make sure you click the right option when checking out!

You opened my eyes to an awesome company man. Thanks I'm thinking of ordering from Stinger from now on.
It's a great quality product!
I want this exact rail for my 14.5 build
It's a pretty slick setup!
I have a side charging non-reciprocating upper, will this interfere with the handle?
It shouldn't BUT id check with the manufacturer!

I'm trying to decide that too. Not sure what looks nicer.. handguard covering/flush with the muzzle or handguard an inch or 2 short of it.

10.5" Barrel and a 2.75 Forward Comp
Is it too thick?
No it's perfect!
BFKing rocks.
Yes!
will this fit on a standard ar upper? with the b.a.r nut?

@@DeLoEnterprises do you mean 15 more because they'll include the bar nut?
@@DeLoEnterprises Thats incorrect. If you are using a standard ar15 upper you need the bar barrel nut from Aero and it will work.
Midwest Industries makes a blast can similar to the Noveske: www.midwestindustriesinc.com/MI-Blast-Can-1-2-28-Thread-5-56-Caliber-p/mi-bc556.htm
Thats the one I went with.
Whould whould say this is slimer than there atlas hanguard they have?
No atlas is slimmer just slightly!
