- After Raul Jimenez secured his long term future, signing a new four year contract at Wolves, he sat down with Wolves record goalscorer, Steve Bull, to talk about why he's delighted to commit to Wolves, his family settling in Wolverhampton, his love of scoring goals and Nuno's influence on his career.

Honestly I wasn’t invested in European football only the mexican league as a Chivas fan but ever since RJ9 has been at wolves, man i never thought i’d be so passionate about another football club, proud wolves fan!!

Robbie Keane "could" have become a Wolves legend. He was only with us for two seasons. Unfortunately at the time, Wolves weren't in a position to match his ambition. Loyalty is rare in the modern game. Hard to believe that he moved to Coventry City in 1999, for £6m! The most expensive teenager in British football at the time.
Dave Smit left for cov after 2 seasons. Kean is a legend but not a wolves legend.
Rhyan, He's more of a Spurs legend than anything else.

I wouldn't sell him for any price, he's a pivotal part of the team and the team his built around him. There aren't many strikers that are as complete and hard working as Jimenez and it's clear he loves the club and fans and we love him. He's got better football to come trust me! He has the hunger to be one of the best after years of being the backup striker which is what keeps him hungry.
Saunders idc for 70 million there are plenty that are as good/ better

In the 80s, Steve Bull & Andy Mutch had the best partnership. Bull was the selfish one. Ruthless! All great goalscorers need to be. Andy Mutch was the perfect foil for him to work alongside. He created a lot of the space for Bully to do the damage, but also scored 100+ goals himself.

I like him too, but I must admit, I didn't have faith in him. In Ame, he would miss sitters but hammer home golazos. I thought he was really good but too inconsistent, but look at him now.

I think I can speak for a great deal of Mexican fans when I say that before RJ9 @ Wolves, I hadn’t heard about Wolverhampton and had little to no interest about the EPL. Now, I am a Wolves fan, watch every game I can to see Jimenez play and score. It doesn’t just stop with Jimenez. I like Traore’s energy and skill, Neto’s fabulous dribbling, and Jota’s incredible talent. But I think what I love the most is how passionate Wolves’ fans are and to see them embrace a foreigner, a Mexican, gives me goosebumps. Much respect to both spectators and athletes. ❤️🙏❤️
