वीर बाइ डिस्कवरी ने 2008 मुंबई हमले के दौरान होटल ताज में मार्कोस कमांडो द्वारा चलाए गये अभियान के बारे में बताया है। भारतीय जवानों ने 4 आतंकवादियों को मार गिराया और होटल से मेहमानों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला। यह ऑपरेशन ब्लैक टॉर्नेडो का एक डॉक्युमेंटरी संस्करण है।
MARCOS are elite commandos of Indian Navy who have specialized training in counter-terrorism operations. The MARCOS team were divided into 3 groups. Two groups were carrying out rescue mission at Hotel Taj and Hotel Trident while one group of commandos were engaging in a gunfight with the terrorists.

MARCOS and NSG strength should be increased and they should have Office unites with personnel in every state. for fast response operations and quick take down for terrorists. Its strength should be double in border states with issues.

This is why when terrorist attacks take place in major public areas like the Taj Hotel and others, all personnel of various media outlets should never be allowed anywhere near such areas.
The authorities should cordon off much of the surrounding area and provide situational updates slowly.
At the Oberoi-Trident hotel, the MARCOS teams were very fortunate to have an ex-commando help explain the hotel's layout to them.
But the same, however, couldn't be said for the teams at the Taj hotel.
