I love your approach to painting with gouache, the dark background contrasting colorful flowers, is so fresh and bold! 🌼 And, extending the plant into the white is marvelous! ❤ Absolutely, THE BEST TUTORIAL on gouache I’ve seen. Thank you soooo much 🙏
Beautiful, and you totally right, if you don’t have the time, hours to spend on a painting, this will never turn out as detailed as we want. ❤ thank you for the tips ❤
Wow, what a beautiful Tuto ! 🌼 Hats off to the artist, your daisy painting is superb, and your palette is just as much! I also appreciate the care you take in using good paper - so important in the practice of watercolor. This contrast between the dark background and the bright flowers makes everything so lively! Thank you for this inspiring tutorial, it really makes me want to subscribe. I also love gouache and your subjects are perfect for inspiration. 🎨😊
Thank you for this very clear spoken and beautifully painted video. Great fun to watch, and imformative too. Have to go and try to paint this😜! Thanks❤.
Thanks for another great video. You really made the painting come alive, althought I already just loved the white daisies at just the set up 😂. You make it so clear to us how we can make things come alive with just some shadows and colours and where to place them ❤.
I finally jumped to the step to buy myself Caran d'ache gouaches tubes, they were expensive, but I can't wait to begin to paint (even if I'm abit scared at the beggining haha) 🙈 Your videos really helped me, and I'm quite sure that it's healing to paint, so thank you again for your beautifull art 🥰 it's really well explained and you take time to explain the details, I feel like I can try it, I love that from you, thank you 🙏🏻☺️
That's amazing! 😍 I hope you're enjoying the new paints! I noticed quite a big difference when I switched to higher quality gouache and I hope your experience will be good too 😊 Thank you so much for saying that! Hearing that the videos are relaxing or healing to people is the best feeling in the world 🥹❤️
Beautiful result, I love how thick and solid the gouache looks here against a dark background :) I've found I love to use a blue colour for bg as well, though mine is Light Cobalt Blue and I can't stop using it haha!
Lovely! I followed it and found it quite easy. It was funny that when I tried to mix dark blue paint for the background, I accidentally used black instead of prussian blue! Didn't want to waste it... Still fine!
Thank you so much for watching! ❤️ I'm not sure since it was quite a while ago, but I'd say probably around one and a half hours. Filming requires some extra time too!
@@ΔεαΚ I added less paint and more water but the blue still got mixed with the white . It happens when you go more than once over the same spot with the brush.
Hmmm I probably should do an updated bullet journal and art supply video at some point! However, I use pretty much the same 3-4 brushes, same paints and same sketchbook/papers in almost all my tutorials, so if you see the description, you'll pretty much know all my favorite tools! 😄 I'm not the type of person to have a huge collection of same products. I just use up the one thing I have in each category.
Oh no! I don't have experiece with the Arteza gouache, but did you wait for the background to completely dry before adding the yellow color? If it's dry and this still happens, I'd maybe add a layer of white first, let it dry and then add the yellow on top.
This turned out so cute. Great painting

It's so true!! And took me a long time to learn when I first started to paint. I thought I'm just simply doing something wrong, haha

Hi 😊 I always love to hear your kind and confident voice and attitude. It gives me that extra motivation and confidence as well.
That's so kind, thank you! 🥹🤍 I rarely feel confident while filming but I'm happy to hear it comes out more like that in the voiceover, haha
I need to try it❤
This is so helpful! ❤ I’m trying to improve my guanche skills ❤
Thank you!! I’m so happy to hear you found it helpful 🥰
Very pretty
I am doing this right now but on one of those Pantone postcards! ❤❤❤
That's such a good idea! 😊 It would be a lot easier to paint the flowers without dark paint in the background
That's beautiful 💙💜🖤
Thank you so much! 🥰
very nice, very talented
Thank you so much! ❤️
So nice ❤
Beautiful ❤️

what was your favorite spread from 2022 bujo?
Suuuuch a difficult question but probably the February cover spread! 😄
which gouache do you recommend for a beginner
Beautiful result, I love how thick and solid the gouache looks here against a dark background :) I've found I love to use a blue colour for bg as well, though mine is Light Cobalt Blue and I can't stop using it haha!
Thank you so much! 🥰 Ohh light cobalt blue sounds heavenly! 😍 I need to try that for some spring and summer paintings!

Haha I can imagine that black probably looked very nice as well! 😊 I'm so happy to hear you decided to try it and found it easy enough to follow! 🤍
early! loveee from Bangladesh😊💜
So fast! 😄 Thank you, lots of love back from Japan! ❤️
Thank you for a great tutorial. I agree on time spent on details. Do you remember how long this painting took to complete?
Thank you so much for watching! ❤️ I'm not sure since it was quite a while ago, but I'd say probably around one and a half hours. Filming requires some extra time too!
what other colors can I use for this painting?
as I don't have gouache paint what other colors can I use for this painting?😐
Gimme a heartttt!
what type of brush did you use for the daisies?
I believe I used a regular round brush. I usually use the size 4, 6 or 8 for painting bigger details like that 😊
Arent you supposed to add more water? This is how my paint looks like straight out of the tube and it looks very streaky and clumpy no oh
The blue mixing with the white of the fiest flower confirms my comment
@@ΔεαΚ I added less paint and more water but the blue still got mixed with the white . It happens when you go more than once over the same spot with the brush.
Please make video on art supplies

Help! Every time I add the yellow to the middle of the flower my blue background mixes in . How can I prevent this? I'm using Arteza gouache.

@@JournalAway yes I did. Thank you for the tip, I will try that.
