Church Participates in Sheep Donation on Navajo Reservation

- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is participating in a Utah program to provide live sheep and flour to the Navajo Nation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Representatives of the Church joined senior staff from the Utah Governor’s Office and leaders from the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food and the Utah Farm Bureau in Monument Valley and Navajo Mountain on Monday, June 1, 2020. The project is part of the Farmers Feeding Utah program.
Navajo people need n deserve our help please let this be the beginning ...everyone please do what ever you can to help them at least spread the word let it be known...👼
Thank you for donating the flour and sheep to our family’s tribe. Our people are also more at risk for COVID-19. Thank you for recognizing the risks and the needs that we all have. God bless!
Thankful to be a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My family had witnessed so many miracles at the hands of ministering angels who have selflessly shared what they had whether it be mentally, physically or monetary. I am truly thankful for the many blessings in my life and hope that my children will remember who’s bidding these faithful members are choosing to do as they share the love of Christ.
I am always thinking of them... I may not know you but your all in my prayers!!!!. This makes me cry. Thank you for this support on the reservation. It does get lonely... Never loose faith!!!!. 🙏

Sheep are the best. For 9000 years we have cared for and protected sheep. And they give their all to us. Wish they mentioned the breed which is churro breed. Unique. Historically significant. Not just any sheep.

LDS never fails when they help Native People's. They know exactly how to help.
I am glad Navajoland is getting the food they need. They are starving their only store is shut down and supplies are running out. COVID is killing them and already 4 members of my family have been infected. The government has turned their backs on them and are giving the aide to those who don't need it. and their livestock is not old enough to be used as food. This is a problem and I am glad the Church came in to help them. Navajoland needs us they are in need and this shipment of sheepy meat and flour will help them in their time of need.

I hope the LDS knows there are members oit in Az. I'm one of them. I not seen not 1 elder come here in in forest lake. I would like a few sheep myself. Some groceries. I just watch everyone roll around in food or whatever is offered. There is anyways a coyote out there first. To collect all the good things and leaves nothing for others.
