Foreign Tax Credit - Part 1 Overview

This video is the first in a series on foreign tax credits. It provides a high level understanding of the foreign tax credit rules and lays out a simple example of double taxation before "FTC". The video provides 6 key components of the FTC rules to help corporate taxpayers know when it is applicable and receive a broad understanding of the calculation. It also sets the stage for the main rules as well as how supporting videos will dive deeper into foreign source income basketing, expense apportionment, creditable taxes, and limitations on the credit.

Hi, thanks for your video. I have paid taxes in 2 countries for the same income for the past 8 years. I realised it very late. Is there a way to claim refund of that?
