I like it! The only thing that bugged me was the amount of back tracking. Like putting in a wall just to come back later and break it for something else. But I get it, it’s a lot to remember for one video. I definitely couldn’t do any better

So, I decided to make an accurate supply list for anyone who wants to build this on their survival world. I counted all the blocks and tested it on a throw away world, so I believe my list is everything you'll actually need. This list is also exactly how he built it minus the chests. Oak planks: 7 stacks, 7 blocks Cobblestone: 2 stacks, 21 blocks Cobblestone slabs: 1 stack, 56 blocks Cobblestone stairs: 56 Oak stairs: 43 Fences: 42 Glass panes: 24 Dirt blocks: 24 -- (you'll also need 24 seeds/crop of choice for the farm) Lanterns: 11 Torches: 4 Oak doors: 3 Fence gate: 2 water bucket obviously you'll need a hoe for the farm, but make sure to have an axe or pickaxe handy lol At 10:49, he notes you can use wood slabs, which I preferred, so I can also give the slab count for that if someone wants it.
for anybody wanting to build this house but doesn’t like the look of cobble and oak, i suggest replace oak parts with dark oak or spruce and replacing cobble parts with stone brick, that combination has a much better look in my opinion

Here's a tip: For the farms, you can destroy the dirt block in the middle and replace it with a slab at the bottom of the block. Then you can put water on top of it, and replace the other row of water with more dirt
When I started this build I was happy. Then I slowly started to hate this guy. I got everything on the material list and then I had to get stuff that wasn’t on it. Then I had to break stuff he told me to build? It’s like he just thought of this from the top of his head even tho he copied it anyways

great house and tutorial. Was annoyed by the times when you added a bunch of cobblestone "pillars" just to take them away. Wasted some time just to get rid of them when I didn't even need them in the first place. Just a suggestion, don't add pillars just for them to b taken away later!
There is a few things I dislike about this video, he didn’t list all the items we need for the build, and he told us to go back and delete blocks that have already been placed. It’s much harder to build in survival, I had to go back and make more tools and get more blocks because he didn’t name off all the items. Other than those two things, it was overall a great build
Thanks for this tutorial. I took your base building and modified it to be more my style. I honestly didn't make it all the way through your video. I stopped where you closed in the roof because I decided to make the top floor double wide and create a nice overhang on the back. From ground level I will build a fishing dock. Once I complete my version, I'll reply with pics of my modifications.
The reason the water keeped ‘glitching’ is because when you place water in a slab/stair, it water logs that block flowing into the outer area. Either replace with solid blocks or place temporary full blocks to place the water on

This is pretty easy in survival but I would recommend making this a storage building because of its shape and all the farms, it just gives of more of an industrial vibe
I changed this up to match 1.18.1 blocks so I used dee[slate cobble and some spruce and it turned out really well. I wish it could have showed how to get downstairs from inside but I guess I'll have to figure that one out. But beside that it looks really good!
I finished the house, it’s amazing, but it was way too small for me, so I extended it from the back 7-8 blocks (instead of 5 oak planks, I added 7-8 blocks) and it’s good, Ty for the build!
The reason the water is "glitching" like that is because you put it in a stair. Stairs keep the water inside, and no this will not be patched because it's a crucial mechanic for auto farms.
This house is literally easy to build but time taking it also need very less stuff which can be get easily. For survival it is the best house. All of we can use it

Here is a pro tip: replace the cobblestone *blocks* with oak logs. And cobblestone *stairs and slabs* with spruce stairs and slabs. Just oak on cobblestone looks tacky
I'm playing with an OG Minecraft texture pack and the cobble with oak gives it that classic OG Minecraft vibe. but its all personal opinion, thats whats so great about minecraft.
This helped me so much and now I have a house for my sister and I, and it doesn't take too long. Getting the materials however is a whole different thing. If you're doing it in survival I'd recommend getting the materials first, that way you can have them all at the ready.
I didn't need to mine or break anything I just had the stuff in my chests and and I have a room filled with chests that are filled with a lot of oak planks

This is pretty easy in survival but I would recommend making this a storage building because of its shape and all the farms, it just gives of more of an industrial vibe
i probably will end up doing that but as a starter house for a while, surely it'll be okay?

6:30 dude why add the cobblestone pillars if we’re just going remove them later
I changed this up to match 1.18.1 blocks so I used dee[slate cobble and some spruce and it turned out really well. I wish it could have showed how to get downstairs from inside but I guess I'll have to figure that one out. But beside that it looks really good!

I finished the house, it’s amazing, but it was way too small for me, so I extended it from the back 7-8 blocks (instead of 5 oak planks, I added 7-8 blocks) and it’s good, Ty for the build!
The reason the water is "glitching" like that is because you put it in a stair. Stairs keep the water inside, and no this will not be patched because it's a crucial mechanic for auto farms.

I recommend adding one wall to the “ working area “ it’s better and you feel more homey instead of exposed

This house is literally easy to build but time taking it also need very less stuff which can be get easily. For survival it is the best house. All of we can use it
But the guy sound like he’s an idiot😂 “to build the next part of the house we need to make an entrance for the bottom area of the house and to do that we need to build an entrance and to build the entrance what we need to do is….” Like seriously?😂
Also half the build he tells us to build something only to later remove it and replace it with something else. Just a waste of time

Here is a pro tip: replace the cobblestone *blocks* with oak logs. And cobblestone *stairs and slabs* with spruce stairs and slabs. Just oak on cobblestone looks tacky

While I agree it looks slightly simple, it's a very classic build, and feels kinda nostalgic from when I built houses like this way back in 2013

I'm playing with an OG Minecraft texture pack and the cobble with oak gives it that classic OG Minecraft vibe. but its all personal opinion, thats whats so great about minecraft.
This helped me so much and now I have a house for my sister and I, and it doesn't take too long. Getting the materials however is a whole different thing. If you're doing it in survival I'd recommend getting the materials first, that way you can have them all at the ready.
