Seeing Koyasu-san in a seiyuu event in person really does feel like discovering a rare treasure... The gap between his iconic deep voice and his normal voice (though still with that distinctive smoothness!) always gets me ngl
i looked him up cause i was stunned by the voice acting of the character Doyle from the anime Baki, and you got it right, one moment he sounds like the death row convict Doyle espacing prison and going on a killing spree, the next he sounds like a shy highschool boy 😂 his voice is amazing
Koyasu-san 🤝 Sugiyama-san The charas they voice are super duper insane (Zeke, Takasugi, Dio, Sasuke, Uryuu etc) but they're total opposites lol. Super shy & sweet. The way Koyasu held up both of his hands in air when he reached the stage at the end 😭 so sweet

Awwww it's my first time seeing the monke- I mean Zeke's VA on stage like this 😭 I only ever saw him on a radio show of Gintama that too was just him talking & not on stage like that 😭
I loved him even more from the moment I read his blog post about voicing all the characters while playing Fire Emblem Genealogy of the Holy War (and his joy that he got cast as Lewyn, his favorite character, in Heroes...which continues the tradition of voicing in Japanese the father of a character voiced in English by Philip Reich), and that he created his own anime and cast himself and his friends in it. Knowing that he's kinda more introverted and geeky just makes the love stronger. Oh, and he loves to play all the video games he's a voice in.
to know that he's never been in a Gintama event, seeing him like this makes me squeal oml. thank you for this upload! I didn't even know that this happened, and it's recent on top of that.
@@ksr1581maybe overlapping schedules? I honestly don't know, but maybe that one 'cause that's usually the reason why seiyuus can't go to these events. he usually does voice records in the events, but like what his fellow seiyuus said, it's a big deal that he's present on stage.
so far japanese people are the only one's that I've seen to call nervous people or stressed people cute😭 I'm super confused please tell me if I'm wrong
