Great video. I agree with you on Becoming vs Barack’s memoir. Much more enjoyable and personable. Barack’s kind of came of defensive at times as well. I wish I could’ve gotten to the autobiography portion of disordered cosmos. The physics lost me by the second chapter.
I really want to read Hattie McDaniel! I also want to read Four Hundreds Souls. My grandmother read it and really wants me to read it so we can have discussions together.
I still need to finish Disordered Cosmos. Each time I pick the book up my mind is just blown with learning more about science, the discrimination within science, and her experiences. I've been reading it very slow and journaling and annotating. I'm loving it very much, just reading real slow. 🐌
