    The biggest difficulty of this clear handling the ending with 5 deploy. Although it's very easy to open with these risks (minimal starting casters) the risks I did take make it very hard to tank the cars while keeping Mudrock alive through the 2 fireballs all in only 5 slots.
    After about 10 hours of trying various setups I found out that Bison S1, DEF Up Gamma, is actually pretty unique as a Defensive skill: it has one of the lowest SP costs (30s), a high DEF UP that can fully tank cars at this risk, and and one of the longest durations (40s). With good timings, it can be cycled together with Blemishine S3 (30s duration, 30s charge time) with Saria S2 towards the end of the first 70s cycle to smoothen the cycle. Saria has the additional advantage of being able to bait the last drones on the bottom. This solves the deployment limit problem, as the 2 ops stall for 70s while Penance holds the last mobs, which easily transitions into a stable 3 op stall when Penance is done with her side, freeing up one slot to support Mudrock.
    I originally used this last slot to help Mudrock out a lot by holding the last fireball indefinitely, but I realized that I could get away with less bodies as long as Mudrock rolled good RNG while the fireballs approached. This is because Fireball Casters actually attack less when you block them (from 5s fireballs to 6s), so they're mainly a threat to Mudrock while they are close but not blocked while peons and drones eat her shields (the latter hurts Mudrock a lot too because of -200 DEF). I also require Mudrock RNG in order to not leak the peons, cause I need her to not stun peons so she can spin more and kill them faster. When they get blocked, Mudrock just needs average RNG for 10 minutes to defeat them (with the help of Nearl + Nian + Blemishine talents ofc).
    Since I had a good time figuring out the core of the left side (including a bunch of positions to find out how to get peons alive on Penance to successfully leak drones) I decided to sit down and grind a little RNG. By having Hoshiguma dodge and Mudrock stun RNG with her shields, I cut this clear down to 10 ops from the original 13.

    Although it took a while and my final risk isn't 700+ like I was hoping, I actually enjoyed this a lot because I had to spend most of my time thinking as opposed to grinding RNG or some incredibly stupid stall (eg, Manfred).
    Overall I think I've been enjoying POO and CCB1 main maps more than the last couple CCs, and am looking forward to CCB2. The increased risk options is interesting. 9/10/11/12 risk choice was not very inspiring (meaningless branches, easy enough that you select almost all the risks. This made for absolutely AWFUL 9 and 10 daily variants since you already played the peak of the map) and I felt they didn't gain anything from being a CC as opposed to some overtuned H map.
    I think for a lot of people this is actually a downside cause they might not be very good at selecting risks so making it more complicated is a turnoff. It's not really something you would have learned from past CCs unless you got really hard into niche gameplay. Even playing max risk CC wouldn't have taught you this since its hard not to hear by chance what CN already pioneered as the best set.
    Not that this CC was perfect for me- the map design and risks mean that Penance/Mudrock on their respective lanes is guaranteed to be the way to go, but I appreciate that there's still a bunch of map changing risks I didn't take and might still think about. The hardest risks that I had in mind and tested a bit over the previous phases were (in order) extra mages (+ range and bulk), left fireballs, DP down 1, starting ground fire, Eblana ghosts, DEF down, right fireballs, deploy 5. When phase 4 opened I was very disappointed I had to stop at the easiest set for a mere 695, but thankfully the problem of 5 deploy was interesting enough anyways. From some random 715 ideas that come to mind but fail to work, I suspect heavily that alternative 695 setups with some of the harder risks are possible, but I'm okay with just taking the 'smartest' solution to it.
    I'll also say that I don't really like how the point structure is now much less flexible than POO, where a slight setback in a particular strategy sets it back 30+ points in most cases. There's much less room to minmax points, which is annoying.

      i know this isnt what you meant but i think your reason for disliking cc9 dailies is kinda funny considering only one acc across all servers actually cleared peak cc9 xd
      also i liked cc10 dailies cause dropping certain risks changed the cannon timings, so i had to revise my strategy around that

    Left side: A carefully startegized and executed use of defenders to manage enemies.
    Right side: Just mudrock (and some bodies to stop her from being overwhelmed when the flame casters first approach)

    Gotta love high end CC clears where mudrock is plonked down with S2 and then just proceeds to be a impassable wall the entire run. What a great operator.

    How long did it take to deafeat the last 4 enemies?

      Total clear is 23 minutes
      The drones leak by the 5 minute mark
      Casters die to Mudrock S2 around 13 minutes

    If sentinel mods was out, how likely is it to kill the drones?

      Invis reveal isn't useful for the tank route tags. This drone is basically a flying Patriot with 3x the HP, so I can't kill it. I did consider using Jessica Alter S3's bullet to kill the last drone in the blue box, but it's missing 10% of the drone HP at this risk, so I dropped her and looked for ways to preserve peons.
