Another tip, if you havent already discovered: the anvil has a system, makes it a bit easier to work. The green ones add 2,7,13,16 and the red ones decrease by 3,6,9,15. So if the recipe requires 3 hits last, it adds up to -9. So i match it to the bar than go +9 and hit 3 times. Hope i was clear. Good luck, love this!
I love watching you do the blacksmithing. I played TFC in a large group ages ago, and my job was all the smithing. I used to practice making decorations like lanterns out of lead, which melts easily and cools rapidly. You get the hang of it pretty quick making those, and then when you finally make iron it's like life is on easy mode. I'm sure TFC has changed a lot since then though.
I’ll take your advice and start hammering out some things in my test world! Smithing seems to mostly be much of the same, just without the skill percentage and quality.
For the longest time I thought gregtech was as complicated as it could get. I was wrong the fact you need to actual hammer every single plate is insane.
Watching the whole series right now. I'm loving the videos and the rythim that you play, I also really like the stories, I moved away from the US a few years back and had completely forgotten how distopic it is compared to most of the world.
I accidentally got one of your episodes into my recommendations yesterday and here I am watching the whole series :) You are doing cool content, I hope you keep it up!
Hey! Love the content man. Just letting you know as a viewer, I used to work in the dealership industry and I understand all the Lemon Law stuff. Just know, the dealership will fight tooth and nail to make sure that lemon law does not occur. So, just a warning, make sure you keep fighting very hard. Document a lot of interactions and different dates they give you. Lastly, it needs to be a repeating problem and a problem that comes from the actual manufacturer (which makes me think you have a really good shot). Just make sure you don’t give up!!! There is a fairly large chance you could lemon law that car.
Oh man… I’ll be bringing the car back in tomorrow for a radar issue (2nd time I’ve brought it in for radar). It’s good to hear from someone with background in the industry that I have a case! Should I get in contact with a lemon law lawyer for a small consultation?
you can plant saplings next to eachother and when they grow the wood will be connected and then when you cut it down it will also cut down all connected wood. I just put my saplings in a long row about 15 at a time next to eachother and cut them all down at once.
I've never owned a car, but it did experience a lot of headaches with a gpu I bought a while ago, it just wouldn't work on my pc no matter what, other gpus worked on it, the gpu worked on other setups identical to mine, we never figured out what was actually wrong, I just eventually reimbursed it and bought another model, but not before spending quite a bit of money on tec shops to try and make it work. Nice video! I'm already looking forward to the next one.
Sorry to hear that about the GPU, tech issues like that are always frustrating. I recently helped a friend of mine build his first PC, after a ton of troubleshooting it turned out that the outlet we were using wasn’t working 100% and was triggering a soft boot loop.
For the longest time I'v being playing with my Minecraft not recognizing my video card, just noticed when launched the bedrock version and saw a bump on the performance monitor. You can check if it shows on the PF3 screen or launch the performance monitor and check for the GPU usage, if not there you may want to add java process to the high performance list on your video settings.... love to see it.
Ouch…. By default bedrock is more efficient because it’s written in C++ instead of Java but yeah, having the game run off of your CPU’s integrated graphics will hurt a bunch! Setting Java as above or high priority will help but since I’m recording that would result in lost/skipped frames in the videos.
forgot when you said there wasn't boats in the pack, and i dunno if you figured out if there are some yet, but there actually are boats, you just have to manually construct them with bolts and stuff (tip: make the rods in the forge, and craft the bolts in your inv with a saw)
@@Flurben the rowboat is very useful for transporting cargo, as it has 2 dedicated spots for storage items, and 2 more for entities or more storage items, but the rowboat costs iron for a couple parts of it. i used the rowboat to transport kaolin clay and coal to my base as they were both near rivers, and unlike the cargo wagon, have no weight limit, as far as i can tell
Getting stuff like armor and carts in mods like this, feels like building a space rocket XD Also I'm curious. How complicated to make, are Create's machines? With the difficulty I've seen till now, I wouldn't be surprised, if you needed some kind of rare stone, from the heart of a volcano XD
AFAIK it pulled a ton of inspiration from TFC as well! I've seen a couple play throughs of it but don't plan to check it out personally anytime soon unfortunately.
Thank you for the reply! I wasn't expecting you replying so fast! And unfortunatly I still can't find the keybind option for the cart, I had already search through the list, also the mod config settings, still no luck. I think this might be a version issue for either the mod (TFC astikor cart or the original astikor cart), or the modpack latest version (0.7.12) somehow hide that keybind. Would you mind telling me the version of the mod and modpack you were playing on? still no luc

I find that out in episode 12! Although I did cut it all out. I’ll make a blacksmithing guide using that trick and the resource pack soon.

@@Flurben I’d recommend it. It’s no joke. My company fought tooth and nail.
@kademccomas460 good to know… looks like I’ve got some effort ahead of me!
oh, and before i forget, try to get a coke oven asap, makes charcoal a lot quicker and more efficiently
That'll be on the list right after the bloomery! Looks like I need wrought iron plates for the coke over block.

We transfer over to this strategy eventually! Good tip!
Amazing to see a new episod of the serie
Thanks for the support!
I also just updated to a 4070TI Super! Made block game go so much more brr! Glad you get to experience the same! ^_^
It definitely chooches! I would’ve gone with the 4090 if it weren’t for the price… sooo, maybe I wouldn’t have gone for the 4090 😂
😂 I am currently binge watching this series and I see your comment everywhere! You definitely have a crush, don't ya 😏
Love this series, looking forward to the future!
Thank you! I’m excited for the future too!

using a hammer on ores and then throwing in water, hammer, water gives an ingots worth (144) of ore dust per ore block
You definitely are the master of thoughts! I’ll try that out in my test world.

I love the vids! Your teaching me so much about this mod pack I’m going to start it real soon!
Good luck! I hear it’s a tough one once we pass the primitive age 🫠
@@Flurben Thanks! You too! Any tips for finding clay? I’ve searched the lake and river maybe I need to move though. You can do it!
Hey I might have started this series a little late but you’re an amazing creator and you’re doing a great job with this series!

@thomasbaldwin2801 no weight cap?! That’s an automatic yes!
New ep keep up the great work
Will do! o7 Had a lot of fun with this episode
Very late comment but I’ve been watching these videos and the seed you’re using looks really good, would you mind saying what seed the world uses?

I haven’t really looked into that too much yet so I’m not quite sure. I’m positive we’ll get there soon though!
Just fyi if you throw something hot into water it will cool off really
Good tip! I exploit this with an infinite water source later in the series!

What's the bg music used? It's amazing
I think in this video I’m using the TFC OST!
Do you know how to make a canoe in This version, for some reason my saw don’t work to start the process even though the saw says it can make canoes
I haven’t tried it personally yet but it’s in the Civilizations section of the TFC field guide. Good luck!
Wondering what keybind set up you are using, I don't seem to be able to find a way to pull the cart, it just let me sit and open the inventory screen.
I think my key is N
But I don’t remember if I had changed it. Check your keybinds if that doesn’t work, I think you can search by mod

Hello, if you don’t mind me asking could you please tell me what cpu you’re using and if you’re overclocking your cpu or gpu?
Nah that's confidential information... i7-13700K (no OC) and RTX 4070 Ti Super (automatic OC with MSI After Burner)
@@Flurben Thank you!
