This incarnation of Spider-Man is genetically enhanced, therefore, a lot of his powers are biologically based(I.e, he can produce organic webbing as opposed to using mechanical webshooters). In the comic books, however, where his powers originate due to being bitten by a spider that was exposed to radiation, his powers have somewhat of a "molecular" origin, if you will. My favourite thing to come from the Sam Raimi Spiderman was 'go, web! Go!' And how he moves his hand back and forth.
