I knew how blessed I was to have him as my Pastor at Christian Center. "The Singing Church with the Singing Pastors" He always knew the right words to say in any situation in Counseling, Pastoring, Singing or just being one of the best friends you could have run across. Even though he moved on and the church began to struggle without him. People lost faith. But he was/is always there in spirit. I miss him something awful. God Bless you Michele, Carol, Shawn and all the other family members that lost him.
I just learned by watching the video that Brother Gary died. Not died per se, but absent from the body to be present with the Lord. His voice will undoubtedly ring in heaven singing the song, "I've Been Redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb." What a wonderful legacy he leaves on earth: family, friends, ministry, and singing.
What a loss to our Christian family! What a talent and he chose to use it to honor God. He could have used it in the secular arena. God bless his family. This video was well done and personal.
I remember as a young man and new Christian I would listen to Gary on the Christian radio station and get a blessing..I still at 65 hold on to those memories..
Just seeing this tribute. I had no idea Brother Gary McSpadden moved on... Honestly, I have thought about him so much over the years... he, among others, represents my childhood. Truly, so grateful for his ministry and how he affected my perspective of music as a child. My dad listened to him often, both in the Gaither Band and his solo album. Thank You, Jesus! All glory to Your name!
Thank you Mr Gaither for this wonderful tribute. I will miss my dearest Brother. A voice so unique in many ways. My prayers is with the family. God bless.
I was just listening to his teaching on leviathan confusion and separation. I came across this vidio. What a blessing he was and is to the body of Christ and the world.
Doy Ott was the greatest baritone of all time, but Gary is definitely in the top 5. Jake Hess and the Imperials were doing harmonies that most quartets today cannot touch. Many of their many hits were sung by Gary. RIP Gary.
I just finished watching the video of Mr. McSpadden’s sermon on Leviathan (which I had never heard of, even though I was raised in a church family). It is such a powerful message, that I feel the Lord led me to it (in a very unexpected way). I needed to hear that sermon so badly, and when I then searched for Gary McSpadden, I came upon this memorial, and realized that I had seen him on the Gaither Hour, and had grown up hearing him sing. I didn’t realize he was also a minister, and didn’t make the connections, until just now. So, he is STILL reaching people, and sharing the glory of God, even after his departure from this world. My “finding” that sermon was meant to be. The story is too long to tell, but I am 100% sure that God was speaking to me through Mr. McSpadden’s words. What a blessing!
I was just watching him on TCT Christian network and was wondering if he was still alive cause the program was from 2005. I was sad to hear of his death. I'm going to look up that message you were referring to. Sounds like I need to hear it too. God bless 🙏🏻🕊️
Greetings from Melbourne Australia. Thank you Bill and Gloria for this beautiful tribute on the life of the late Gary Mcspadden. I feel now that I actually knew this beautiful Pastor. Thank you once again. ❤️🌹🙏🏼🙏🏼

This video has helped me know him so much deeper, I knew him growing up through this music and I respect his kinput into Gaither even more now.
Most powerful preacher I've ever encountered ❤🙏
This is a beautiful tribute! Love oozed all over the place!
Thank you for sharing.
Greatly missed, but i imagine he's singing up a storm in Glory. He and Danny were my favorite tenors of all time
I love this tribute to my former Pastor. I was a member of the church in Fort Worth. Thank you.

We know about Home Coming Videos; You’re not too bad at Home Going Videos either; a great tribute to a man who lived for God ...
I saw Jake Hess and the Imperials when I was a young woman. I wonder if he was part of the group. They were wonderful.
