@@TheClarinetProject The Backun Alpha is marketed as a student clarinet. It seems misleading to demonstrate how well you can play it using your own expensive mouthpiece and ligature instead of the items supplied as part of the outfit.
Playing out in the cold, it doesn't have to rain, those pads get wet wet wet.
I got one few years ago and returned it,because intonation was really bad.
Same happed to me.
Then what kinda cork grease should I use for a Bb clarinet?

@@TheClarinetProject do you know what kinda reed I should used first ? It’s kinda hard to make a sound I use what came with it from Amazon 2.5 Bb Rico reeds and no matter how long I soak the reed in water it’s still hard to play

Backun seems to have ignored your high opinion of the case. The Alpha is now sold with a backpack-style case.
Ah well. I like the backpack cases too.

@@richardmcgregor5652 Backun is indeed a Canadian company and if you look at their website you might think that the Alpha is made in Canada. However the lower joint is emblazoned with 'Made in China'.
Yes, made in china but sold by a Canadian company.
@@lambertj.2892 Designed by Canadians, and the Beta (wood) is made in Canada I believe, but it also costs $1800 dollars. They made part of this in China to cut cost and keep it around $1000.
