    Why hello, my good sir! I've been recomended by the YT overlords and went back in your catalog to watch several fm21 videos.
    Your videos and presentation are incredible! Im loving my time here and learning quite a lot! There is a single thing that warrants criticism: your intro and outro volumes.
    Try watching your own video on your phone without changing the volume. It seems like intro and outro are at volume 10, whilst you are at 3 or so. Which makes me raise it in order to hear you....and regret deeply as soon as the video ends or i click a new one. Everything in between is top-notch though! Best of luck and congratulations on thea amazing videos, mate!

      @@ebfm I can see that! Along with my new evidence-based schedule, I dropped in some team-style training every other week. So I am using control possession positive gegenpress as a tactic, so I alternate to see if it has an impact on growth, training ratings and team performance. So far the team is playing better, all the green bars of familiarity are increasing much quicker, and the results seem to be good for attribute growth too. Keep up the amazing work, the best FM channel out of all.

    Hey! In your last test (Individual Roles) you used only two match trainnings, which meaby wasnt enought to "unblur" results. How about adding "Def. Shape" and "Att. Movement" they train Atributes: Individual Roles, too. I suspect that kind of trainning doesnt give super CA growth, but meaby it will help in non wasting PA on undesirable atributes.
    btw. Great video!

    • @ebfm
      @ebfm  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey mate, yup using only 2 training sessions is maybe not enough of a sample size. When a training session says it affects the attributes of "Individual Roles", it's not entirely clear what that means. I will have to redo those tests in FM23 to be sure.

    Did you maybe get around to testing additional focus in individual training? Should be somewhat straightforward to test but yeah takes time. I'm wondering if it's any use, the players tend to complain a lot especially if you are trying to fix their weak points ... on the other hand the coaches say it's benefitting, but those attributes could have grown on their own without additional focus. After what you've uncovered in these videos I'm starting to question everything :)

    Hey, great video! I felt a bit bad about pointing out the issue in previous version of this video, but I think the new results about physical condition are much more useful now. Ive been championing your channel/videos on my Twitch streams, as your findings with my own experience and interpretation is producing some amazing results! Hopefully todays further tweaks, optimize it more for me. Im also now experimenting with a youth team schedule by putting ALL players in defensive unit then using "Attacking Overlap" as the primary way to train attacking attributes within defensive unit, so the schedule mainly consists of "Aerial Defence" & "Attacking Overlap" with a few "Match Practice" and "Resistance" sessions. Curious to see if a 1 unit approach is viable for low CA players, such as under 18's. My main senior team schedule is focused on "Aerial Defence" and "Attacking Wings" as I identified/interpreted them to be the best defence + attack combination, again with a mix of "Match Practice"/"Resistance"/"Match Tactics"/"Goalkeeping" to supplement the main 2 sessions. One thing I would like to experiment more with is the effectiveness and effects of "Recovery" compared to "Rest" sessions following match day. In my experience, Ive committed 100% to "Recovery" being better thus far, but got no definitive proof of that. KUTGW :)

    • @ebfm
      @ebfm  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      hey mate, absolutely no need to feel bad. I appeciate your input and happy to upload the fixed version.
      Your schedule combination sounds interesting, do let me know how you go.
      Yes the effects of Recovery / Rest is another area I need to investigate. It wouldn't even be that difficult to test, all you have to do is what I did in this video, check the fitness of players before and after the Recovery / Rest sessions. I could possibly do this in my next video.

    • @Kyznar1
      @Kyznar1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ebfm The biggest thing for me with "Recovery" compared to "Rest" is figuring out the "Injury Risk" reduction difference. With the results of this video its now easier to form/order the sessions in a way to maximise condition recovery between matches, but not injury risk. The ideal scenario with the schedules is post match day to force down injury risk as much as possible in order to compile a FULL training schedule with 0 rest even after more intensive sessions, such as physical or match practice. AND also exploring the option of doing a training session in the 3rd slot, the day after match day to maximise more training. This would be based on the fact that the condition recovery is the same with "Attacking Wings" as it is with "rest" as based on this video. So the post match day would look like: Session 1 - Recovery, Session 2 - Recovery, Session 3 - Attacking Wings. BUT if recovery is powerful enough at injury risk reduction, maybe only 1 session is needed, then you could utilise 2 full training sessions efficiently the day after a match. Its worth finding out.

    • @ebfm
      @ebfm  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Kyznar1 yes testing the effect on injury risk would be a challenge, but definitely worth exploring. I shall put it down on my list of experiments to do.

    One question: did individual training in different positions boost players familiarity with those new positions and consequently raised CA? Or did it just have an effect on attributes?

  • @ukaszfurmaniak1555

    Hi Max, I actually got a question/idea about match prep trainings. In video where you ware checking if those match preparation trainings help, you came into conclusion, that they have negligent or even detrimental effect on winning match. Every time you only used one preparation training. What changes would be if you use 1x Teamwork 1x Att prep 1x Def prep? or even 2x Teamwork 2x Att prep 2x Def prep in one week? would you be willing to run test for such a schedule?

    • @ebfm
      @ebfm  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey bud, yes my conclusion was that the individual Match Prep sessions did not raise your team's chances of winning.
      Few people have requested a follow up experiment with multiple sessions in a week. Probably not too soon, as I need to focus on finishing the current series on training. Maybe when FM23 comes out I try do another experiment on Match Preparation.

    • @ukaszfurmaniak1555
      @ukaszfurmaniak1555 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ebfm It is hard to say definitely about that: " yes my conclusion was that the individual Match Prep sessions did not raise your team's chances of winning." As you showed in that video that about 25% of matches was draws (talking from my memory, i think was something like 75:50:75 in control group), for making my explanations super simple let say that engine, have random numbers generator that move chances up or down by 25%. and let say each prep session increase your chances by 10%, as engine is a random number generator it could potentially (in case of bad dice rolls) hide usefulness of prep sessions, and yet it would not mean they are not useful. Obviously those numbers are made up by me just for purpose of explanation.

    • @ebfm
      @ebfm  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ukaszfurmaniak1555 hey bud, absolutely, as you said, FM is a RNG so a variety of other 'bad dice rolls' could have masked the effects of the Match Preparation sessions. If a boosting effect did exist, then that effect wasn't significant enough to overcome all the random errors of the test.
      It is possible that the Match Prep sessions do boost your win chance, but 1 session was not enough to produce a statistically significant difference. In which case, I have proven that using a single Match Prep session before a match when playing FM is a meaningless effort.

    Sorry if answered in video: my question…
    If, I have a player that I use as an AP in CM , but I notice the attributes targeted by Mez CM are much better than what is covered in AP. Is it worth going for the best attribute targeting as long as the position is the same? Or are there negative affects training a different ‘role’ ?

    • @ebfm
      @ebfm  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate, if you want your players to develop specific attributes, Additional Focus is the way to go. Check out my recent video on this topic (th-cam.com/video/m5WUIpCkDbU/w-d-xo.html). You can choose the Additional Focus that suits an AP or a Mezzala, whatever you prefer.
