The funny thing is, despite on the surface appearing to be made for the 90s cartoon fans. This truly was made for Fans of the comics more than anything. Between the adapting of popular storylines from the books, iconic outfits, references to specific events in the lore. It's just so refreshing getting something that makes you go " OH SHIT! They're doing THIS story! And THAT character appeared! Yooooo THAT suits making an appearance!" It just feels rewarding for comic fans. And not to say there's nothing here for fans of the original series. Cuz there's a TON! and even with that being said, I've had close friends tell me the show has made them SEEK OUT x men comics because of the show. That's Awesome! It's so validating. Even so i feel the people hating have either : 1: only have x men knowledge from the 90s series and movies. I’m fine with criticizing Disney as a corporation and having questionable business practices, however, the vast majority of the “anti-woke” crowd doesn’t do this. They just seem to have “anti-woke” derangement every time Disney is brought up. Aside from that, it’s clear the suits at Disney mostly left this show alone and allowed the writers a lot of creative freedom.

I am not defending anyone, because even though I do watch some of these channels, I think they dropped the ball on this one. That being said, I am going to make you aware that even though Jeremy from Geeks and Gamers said he hadn't watched the show (at least from the time that video was posted), he did post a video saying that he was wrong, even though for me, the title seemed a bit click bait-y. Maybe I'm remembering that part a bit wrong. Now, that being said, this is not woke. If it was woke, it would have poor attempts to look progressive just for the sake of it. If it was woke, it wouldn't be as well- written as this show was. A good way to see if something is woke, is if there are attempts to be all progressive, but it comes off as disingenuous and shallow, like it was only there to try to look good, like to fill a check box. Again, X-Men 97 is not woke, its just a really good show, and something I've been really wanting from Marvel for a long time.

When Forge went down and Storm , there where at least 10 sentinels in the sky . Beast and Morph where in Bastion Base but we start the episode with them on a beach with just 3 active sentinels. Xavier r@pes Magneto and restores power. I have a HUGE problem with this one : The circuitry HAS BEEN FRIED ! you need new light bolts to power back on new backup generators , besides Magneto was on Earth when he done this Charles was in an asteroid light years away. If my light bolt burns out dies out i need to go and buy a new one i cant restore the old one. So what does humanity do first thing after power is back on ? Not catching Omega Red but let s destroy the Asteroid , that way it wont fell on Earth ending all life on Earth , it s going to hot Paris . Those people deserve to be wiped out and get this ... Magneto says the survivors ( mutants ) will shine over humanity. No they wont ! Why not at least take Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch , your kids keep them safe ? Good analysis but I disagree that magneto was right. There are plenty of good humans in the marvel universe like Spider-Man and Captain America and Moira Mctaggert. If magneto went after bastion instead of the whole planet, I would be onboard with what he is doing

The issue isn't whether they liked the show afterwards or not. It's that they were screaming "agenda" and judging before the show came out based off of something that wasn't even that big of a deal. Same thing thats happening with Assasins Creed rn. The fact that they said they were wrong actually proves my point even more. Also they cant even fully take the L cuz now they saying the show flopped which isnt true.

This show just proved how much they hate grift and that they use woke as a catch all for whatever they don’t like. They can cry all they want and even if it was “woke” there are more than enough fans who like the material or don’t care
I love the show, my only complaint is them trying to hook up Morph with Wolverine. I don’t care about Morph being pan/Bi or whatever his sexuality is. Wolverine is my favorite character & I don’t want to see that. Other than that, I grew up loving the old show & I’m loving the continuation also.
I don't think that's actually going to happen, maybe, MAYBE it will be revealed that Morph is attracted to Wolverine, but it's never going to become a relationship, it coud be interesting for character development for the both of them, but Wolverine is never going to end up with him

Orrrr theyre setting up a cartoon where they do T'Challa's origin in this universe. They also had Peter and MJ after that show left off on a cliffhanger, so it seems they're playing a little fast and loose with surrounding lore

When Forge went down and Storm , there where at least 10 sentinels in the sky . Beast and Morph where in Bastion Base but we start the episode with them on a beach with just 3 active sentinels. Xavier r@pes Magneto and restores power. I have a HUGE problem with this one : The circuitry HAS BEEN FRIED ! you need new light bolts to power back on new backup generators , besides Magneto was on Earth when he done this Charles was in an asteroid light years away. If my light bolt burns out dies out i need to go and buy a new one i cant restore the old one.
So what does humanity do first thing after power is back on ? Not catching Omega Red but let s destroy the Asteroid , that way it wont fell on Earth ending all life on Earth , it s going to hot Paris . Those people deserve to be wiped out and get this ... Magneto says the survivors ( mutants ) will shine over humanity. No they wont ! Why not at least take Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch , your kids keep them safe ?

Magneto didnt lose it because his parents where killed but because Genosha was nuked ! Fixing Magneto past wont change Genosha outcome. Magneto lives to be a fool ! This Finale insults my intelligence and i am done with tyhis show . I ll watch t just for the action sequences because ET ( entertainment)
Oh I can tell you where they went They didn't watch the show because the show's not charting on the ratings the merchandise for X-Men 97 isn't moving at all unless you're online collectors They literally told people if you don't like it don't watch it and guess what those people who was criticizing it stop watching and stop supporting the X-Men 97 That's why X-Men 97 those people that you're talking about aren't talking about it anymore because it's not interesting because they got turned off from it which is bad for Disney since they put a lot of money into the X-Men and especially this version right now just being honest it might be a masterpiece but a masterpiece that nobody's watching when echo and Miss Marvel is doing better in the Disney Plus ratings than X-Men 97 That tells you something that Disney screwed up Marvel so bad that people won't even give X-Men 97 a chance.

We were flabbergasted at the idea of paying $25 for a mass produced Magneto action figure. They have done lost their minds. You’re going to charge $25 for an action figure during an economic downturn!? Disney really has lost touch with the consumer.
