Following you on a Saturday evening, used an envelope to make a pocket, tuck, just a prep, making the third signature for July, have the stuff to add in, using pics from a baby shower, my birthday, and plans for a family memorial. My evenings are my time to make the journal pages, entries, days are busy with life and quilting, sewing, etc. You have me as a permanent fixture here, Pam, thanks for the encouragement.

I remember way back when I first started watching your channel. I found it so upbeat and fun. A while later Gayle Agostinelli mentioned you. She said she had found a fun new junk journaler, but she was warning us (in a positive way) not to watch you before going to bed because your enthusiasm was not conducive to her falling asleep. I immediately knew what she was talking about! Being retired, I can pretty much sleep when I choose, which leaves me free to enjoy your fun channel whenever I want.
Wow, who would have thought that a junk envelope that we would normally throw away could end up looking like the one you just made? It is really beautiful. I love watching all your videos, I always learn something new, and you make me laugh out loud so much. Thank you.

So much political junk mail now, but they use great paper. So I glue 2 writing sides together, and I have 2 NICE sides.
ALSO,...renments!! Fabric AND trims. Yesterday I bought 15 renments. Average price 78 cents!!! And ASK YOUR FAMILY & FRIENDS!! Especially people who throw out a lot. I get tons of stuff from my DIL's Goodwill bags, I get them before they go to Goodwill. (Nothing much leaves MY house).
I just told myself what if USA decides to go paperless work, how would the beauty can be find in my art or yours. Digital art won’t be same. I have to see, feel, embrace, love and hurts in my hands. Your work is so gorgeous, colorful and happy aura.
Another fun one, Miss Pam! I rarely leave the house, but I did yesterday (only because I had an order to pick up 😁) and decided to stop at a couple thrift shops in the town I just moved to. I scored some sheet music ©️1914 and used a bit of it last night, along with some of those adorable peg stamps from NoraJane (I am so in love with them!). I’m still unpacking my craft supplies, so my attempts at doing any project is met with “well....that [needed item] is in storage still...😭”, but it does force me to get creative with what I have available right now until I can get the rest of my goodies up to my room. Thanks for the inspiration and company 💕

I like what you did with the junk mail!! Very cool and creative.
Regarding craft mats, I made my own. I took a large piece of cardboard that came from a big wide box. For interest, I used mod podge and glued all kinds of scrap paper, newspaper, book pages, etc on both sides. Then I applied a sealant. It's big enough to protect my table and it never matters whether I get ink, paint, glue, etc on it. The best part is it didn't cost me a dime. I used what I had on hand. ☺

New subbie. I saw this in my recommendations when it first came out, I watched it, and then lost it. I got junk mail the other day with a big, beautiful window, and knew I had to find you again. So glad I did!
I made 2 of these today - one with a french bicycle theme and a pink themed envelope. I like these kinds of projects that uses every day objects that don't require a lot of materials. More time for decorating.

I love your old hueishness. And I'm just getting distress ink here and there and one I got is the old paper. But I so want the worn lipstick next. I'm going to do this one for sure. I used some old mail today....very satisfying. It was an office depot flip out thingy...it got covered in all kinds of old papers an stuff that was lyin around. It's a blast. My favorite things to watch are your junk mail videos! A good Saturday morning!🤓 Oh just a thought: at the bottom of the journal card, instead of gluing the little page bottoms together, they could be little hidden journaling spots. Engineuity at its finest! When you don’t have that special something, you just make what you have work. I sometimes wish I still had my wedding dress, (2nd one, not 1st one, lol). It was a beautiful off white silk with hand sewn lace and beads. I picked it up for $150.00. I always think how much fun it would be to make things with it that would keep for myself. I ended up donating it to brides for Breast cancer. They travel around the U.S. and have sales and proceeds go to the B.C. Foundation.
Sounds like it went to a good place Jana! :) Its funny, I gave my wedding dress to the thrift shop years ago and also wish I had it now. But boy that dress took up a lot of room! I debated for years. finally took a picture of it and released it to the universe. My hope is that some crafter had a blast cutting it up :) ! That would make me so happy! :)
