I've had boats forever and never thought of a pad under the trolling motor foot. The extra tie-down is another obvious fix that I missed. Great ideas, thank you.
Thanks for the advice! Glad you guys are back home! One other thing I do on my Power Poles are straps around the bottom so they don’t accidentally deploy and go down when I’m going down the highway. I just use a key fob for my PPs so I can deploy them wherever I’m at in the boat. Enjoyed the video!
Another tip for fishing big and rough water... the standard factory battery straps/tie downs will fail. I install eye bolts in the platform that the batteries set on and ratchet strap the batteries down.
It’s just a matter of optimizing my motions. It’s way easier when I’m using the poles for parking to have it next to the throttle so I don’t have to take my hand off the wheel. If you’re relegated to one switch, then putting it on the left is best, but switches are cheap so I like having one in both places because it just works more seamless.
Hang your power pole key fob on the truck rear view mirror. When you back into the ramp, boat floats off the trailer, Power-Pole down and park the truck! People at the always look at you like you’ve just solved quantum physics!
So actually, no, the boat is not sold yet. In all honesty I felt bad about posting the video before detailing the boat. I didn’t think it was a good representation of how good of condition the boat is in, so I took it down and will be doing another video posting it for sale.

Love all ur vids bro keep them coming!!!
Thanks! Will do!
On big water walleye boats I have seen a ton using ram mount balls to tie trolling motor head to the deck. No straps to store or lose
Good video!!!
Why not put power pole switch on the left side of the console so it is easily reachable from both positions?

Yes sir
Is the boat sold already? Is the boat for sale video gone?
