I'm having to put my 11 year old baby down today. My heart is killing me and I've been crying since she woke me up at 3am this morning. This song hits home because there are way to many people out there who believe that dogs are just a dog or cats are just cats. They have b feelings, emotions or able to love and care for others. I believe these people have no soul.

Tried listening to different songs to cope with the pain of my dog's sudden passing this past Sunday. But this one really hits the heart and soul. Now it's hard coming home and not hearing her sweet bark, the jingling of her collar, happy to see me after a long day. It really feels empty knowing she's no longer with us. But this song encourages us all to love and appreciate our dogs, and all pets, because they are family, and life has no guarantee, for it can change unexpectedly. May all of you find closure and peace, as I'm currently trying to do, and move on with only the beautiful memories they leave us behind. ❤️ RIP Lola. May 2011-September 2023.

This world is moving so fast that most people completely miss treasures that God provides for us occasionally. This young man is one of those treasures. If the country music world does not take note of his talent, and that of a very few others who are doing it in the old tradition (like Ben Haggard for instance...) it may never recover to what it once was. I'm glad I read the other comments. I bought this CD and put it in the car. That was the first time I heard this. And I was boo hooing so much it was unreal!! Love it along with every other song on the CD! I do not normally recommend things. But I highly recommend the purchase of this CD to anyone who likes COUNTRY music. Yes, I put Country in caps! The radio stations today rarely play country music! And to tell the truth, the only time I hear music at all is in the car. I no longer listen to country. But I'm one of those people who flip through stations non stop! As it turns out, I would hear one song on the country station that I would have to listen to every time. The song.. well.. its ""County" written by this fine gentleman, and the wonderful Bill Anderson and another gentleman who's name I forget!! Love you Mo and thank you for the COUNTRY music!!

I just put my dog Gator I found on the side of the road down today. On Sunday. He was my van life buddy. Ridin Shotgun. I’ve never related more to a song. I really needed this.
I lost my dog sister January 16, 2023 I had to put her down a day after her 10th birthday. She was diagnosed that Friday before with diabetes. She took the insulin and then all the sudden her body became insulin resistance and I was told the kidney function was 25 she wasn’t eating. Sister wasn’t just a dog to me. She was my whole world. She was there for me through one of the most hardest times in my life I had gotten her a week after my mom passed away. It’s so hard without her she was one in 1 million.
Today I had to bid farewell to my bestest buddy with a heavy heart. She was the best companion since the last 7 years. I thank her for all her selfless love she has showered upon the family. Hope to meet you again Lulu ❤️. Remember us! It’s just a dog. Right?

Omgosh I can't say enough about this man and I love this song! I love the Mo's voice it's like butter to me. Makes me feel like I just walked into my Grandma's first kitchen on the farm in my youth. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside! I love it! Keep making me melt! And This Song!!! The first time I heard it! It made me cry. I must have played it 5 times. What a great song! Makes me think of Hannah! My Dad saved our St Bernard Hannah after she ran into the side of a station wagon. He saved my life that day too if he hadn't of said Marie! STOP! I would have been hit by a Semi. Because I was chasing after my dog. I saw her running for the road and I went running after her to stop her. She had a one track mind she was going to go see the horses across the highway. I saw her hit the car. And she spun and hit the car a second time. And then I screamed her name and again and she lumbered over to the side of the road and collapsed. I know I yelled her name as I jumped off the lawnmower! My heart was broken and I started hyperventilating. Anyway She had to be taken 2 hours away to Madison WI for 2 weeks. She had internal bleeding when she was brought up there. And then they found that she broke her right leg and her left paw. She had so many nuts and bolts in her left paw and a giant rod in her right leg. At only a year and a half she was a fighter. And she lived to the ripe old age of 12. Like if you read my post "book " haha

I just lost my dog yesterday, only 7 years old. We found out he was sick in the morning and a couple of hours later he was gone. If you don't own a dog then you don't know how this feels, this is grieving just like you would if you lost another member of your family. It's never 'just a dog', it's the one being that truly loves you unconditionally that died. It hurts..

But I think what sets it apart are the rich specific details and phenomenal delivery from Mo. This isn’t your average dog song. This is the greatest one I’ve heard yet, with apologies to Easton Corbin and Chris Stapleton, among many others.

This world is moving so fast that most people completely miss treasures that God provides for us occasionally. This young man is one of those treasures. If the country music world does not take note of his talent, and that of a very few others who are doing it in the old tradition (like Ben Haggard for instance...) it may never recover to what it once was. I had completely stopped listening to country music in the past few years because it has become just same-sounding pablum. Mo and Ben brought me back, thank God. And, Mo, aren't new strings great? Your guitar sounds amazing. I'm a Taylor fan, but your Martin is special. Long may you run.
This is a great song. A dog is definitely not just a dog. I had to have my 14 yr. old basset hound put to sleep in September. I still miss him every day.

I'm glad I read the other comments. I bought this CD and put it in the car. That was the first time I heard this. And I was boo hooing so much it was unreal!! Love it along with every other song on the CD! I do not normally recommend things. But I highly recommend the purchase of this CD to anyone who likes COUNTRY music. Yes, I put Country in caps! The radio stations today rarely play country music! And to tell the truth, the only time I hear music at all is in the car. I no longer listen to country. But I'm one of those people who flip through stations non stop! As it turns out, I would hear one song on the country station that I would have to listen to every time. The song.. well.. its ""County" written by this fine gentleman, and the wonderful Bill Anderson and another gentleman who's name I forget!! Love you Mo and thank you for the COUNTRY music!!

I lost my dog sister January 16, 2023 I had to put her down a day after her 10th birthday. She was diagnosed that Friday before with diabetes. She took the insulin and then all the sudden her body became insulin resistance and I was told the kidney function was 25 she wasn’t eating. Sister wasn’t just a dog to me. She was my whole world. She was there for me through one of the most hardest times in my life I had gotten her a week after my mom passed away. It’s so hard without her she was one in 1 million.
Today I had to bid farewell to my bestest buddy with a heavy heart. She was the best companion since the last 7 years. I thank her for all her selfless love she has showered upon the family. Hope to meet you again Lulu ❤️. Remember us!

Omgosh I can't say enough about this man and I love this song! I love the Mo's voice it's like butter to me. Makes me feel like I just walked into my Grandma's first kitchen on the farm in my youth. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside! I love it! Keep making me melt!

My Dad saved our St Bernard Hannah after she ran into the side of a station wagon. He saved my life that day too if he hadn't of said Marie! STOP! I would have been hit by a Semi. Because I was chasing after my dog. I saw her running for the road and I went running after her to stop her. She had a one track mind she was going to go see the horses across the highway. I saw her hit the car. And she spun and hit the car a second time. And then I screamed her name and again and she lumbered over to the side of the road and collapsed. I know I yelled her name as I jumped off the lawnmower! My heart was broken and I started hyperventilating. Anyway She had to be taken 2 hours away to Madison WI for 2 weeks. She had internal bleeding when she was brought up there. And then they found that she broke her right leg and her left paw. She had so many nuts and bolts in her left paw and a giant rod in her right leg. At only a year and a half she was a fighter. And she lived to the ripe old age of 12. Like if you read my post "book " haha

I just lost my dog yesterday, only 7 years old. We found out he was sick in the morning and a couple of hours later he was gone. I've been listening to Mo for awhile now and enjoy his music. This song hit me hard and brought tears to my old eyes. The collars of my pups that have gone on before me hang from the rear view mirror of my truck. I've never stopped missing Patch, Shadow, Sophie, Liberty, and my Sweet Daisy Girl.
