“Ricky” is about her brother Ricky. “Brother” is a cover, and the first line refers to the singers “little (younger) brother” (Ricky was four years older than Cindy)

Cindy Wilson is one of my favorite vocalists. I notice on all of her solo material her voice sounds so different from her voice in the B-52s. It is more reserved. 'Take My Time' is a great track that she sang with Kate on Junior Senior's sophomore effort.

"Brother" is not Cindy's song, it is originally by Oh-OK. They were another Athens band, fronted by Lynda Stipe, sister of R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe.
