I feel like a lot of people are afraid to speak, especially if you belong to the groups that are most suppressed because they are seen by woke ideology as the least oppressed.
I like Teal Swan! Agnostic about her spiritual teachings / philosophy but in relation to the world we find ourselves in she is absolutely based and sometimes hardcore. She never panders to her audience or sugars the pill and she won't dodge controversial or difficult topics. Authentic woman

Tried to share this with those that claim to be woke and it was not well recieved. Seems there is a major wound in these souls and the inability to see through to the truth of the heart.
As a person of color, I FEEL UNSAFE IN MOST WOKE SPACES. I feel like I have to stick to a certain narrative and if I step out of that narrative, then I've "internalized racism" and I'm "problematic" despite the fact I have *actually* faced oppression related trauma. If I don't LEAD with all the horrible things that have happened to me, then I have no credibility. What a horrible way to live-- an over identification with suffering will destroy your human spirit.
Teal takes on such a powerful posture regardless of potentially being de-platformed or defamed. Such class A example of real awakening. Thank you, sister!

I think what’s really lacking from our current communities is lack of forgiveness. Being unable to have forgiveness, which I think has roots in empathy, is being unable to let go of your ego.
When covid hit I was 17 and I started getting the intuition that the news and society was trying to brainwash me and I felt so vulnerable that I just cut myself off from the news and social media which made very uneducated but at the same time I feel like I was able to protect my intellectual integrity more than other people my age. Anyways this scary I think I'm just gonna keep going through life doing something good for the world and thinking for myself
Yep. Its okay to peek in on the news. It's always good to know what the "enemies," are talking about. But watch without believing... don't invest in the narrative. Just know that you know better, what is right for yourself and your body than say, Rachel Maddow or Tucker Carlson. I totally relate to the needing to take a step back, around the onset of the, "pandemic."
How is covid even related to being 'woke"? Many people (also) healthy died from covid or have long term health complications. It's been proven recently it has destructive effect on the brain. I'm in no way woke (anti-woke even). But this is the biological and medical reality tho.

I had a business as a professional healer and tarot reader for 4 years. I retired that business because I could not handle taking on energy from so many people, and people my age were very stuck in this mindset. It was a constant argument, and genuine advice I would give would always be taken the wrong way. I’m glad I stepped down and starting living for myself
I have a coaching business, and I am VERY up front about being against the modern woke movement. Most coaches are quite woke and I am explicit that I do not do that. I get some hate, but a LOT of love from people who are sick of it. Being open about refusing to cater to this mentality is 100% necessary in modern business or you'll get cancelled and bullied all over the place. For me, my honesty protects me from these people as they are easy to ignore. I've had so many people try to cancel me, it just makes me more money and spreads my message of true sovereignty and empowerment further.

@@teamTERF as someone with control issues, it’s very hard to allow things to unfold on their own. I was very obsessed with getting readings all the time at one point. I’ve stepped back from it, and only do so for myself when necessary. Other people get stuck and stay stuck in that loop

This is what Jordan Peterson and some of the critics on the right have been pointing out about the woke movement for a while now. When the woke perspective first hit the zeitgeist I looked into it and agreed we had some waking up to do en mass. Objections to the ideology were initially easily dismissible by me as unconscious bigotry or prejudice, maybe because I consider myself to be left of center and a progressive? It is sad to see that the crazy extremist end of the left perspective has grabbed the steering wheel and perverted the original intention to such a degree now as to actually become the thing they say they are fighting against. Isn’t that the trap we humans fall into again and again? 😅

It's in your local diners, meet up groups, etc...everyone wants to be a parrot spreading 'news speak' like Orwell foretold us in his book, '1984' where most ppl just want to be heard for the sake of being heard and they don't care if the info they share is truthful or real. There is really a thing I like to call 'arrogant ignorance' where ppl just keep flapping their jaws just to be relevant or valid. But there is nothing coming out of their lips but the same narrative they hear and repeat (parroting) from social media and mainstream media. This is largely b/c ppl don't read or research much at all on ANY topic. I am in sales and media myself, and as a reader/ researcher and writer, I see tons of ppl making huge mistakes in their info just to be cool, relevant, etc... They don't care if the info is wrong at all - they just want to be accepted and be popular b/c their ego and pride makes them this way. It's really becoming a new kind of mental illness from my perspective. My own family tries to jump on every hipster bandwagon coming down the road - regardless if it's healthy to jump on or not. Believe me, I get around enough to see this everywhere...are you a shut-in and don't get out much or is there another reason you're not seeing this much?

These hyper PC woke identity politics groups may be authoritarian in their tactics but they don't actually have much real power IMO. I was appalled by the treatment of J.Petterson by SJW activists in 2016 despite being a former leftist activist myself.

It is people who live their lives looking for things to be offended by, or people calling someone a racists without actually looking closer to see if it is indeed racism or not. It is like being offended if someone asks "where are you from" out of genuine curiosity , meaning they want to know your heritage , but being automatically offended. It is mercilessly cancelling elderly people for not being so informed about the sensibilities of today's woke culture, without kindly trying to educate them, and creating harmful steretypes like "old white woman", although you actively "fight" stereotypes like "bad asian drivers" or "angry black woman"... Speaking out against that is good. But other and negative parts of wokeness are: - calling mothers "birthing people" and many other such things - pushing kids to transition to the opposite sex and giving them semi-irreversible medical procedures, while they are still underage - trying to cancel, silence, deplaftorm, censor, etc anyone who disagrees with wokeness - a hate-filled attitude against "bad people", eg conservatives, plus a lack of understanding that people don't become "good" if you treat them with hate and contempt. - an overall attitude of "we woke people are automatically and inherently good and right, everyone who disagrees with us is at best wrong but probably just simply evil." I get that woke people aren't literally saying this, but that's often more or less the attitude. - insisting that woke / culture issues get prioritized over everything, including over family's ability to keep their head above water. Even if there has been a pendulum swing, given how much pain I personally went through ever since I realized what my secsual orientation was, I'd never wish that on my worst enemy. It's not something that should happen. Pendulum swings only ever grow exponentially stronger. If we don't stop the cycle, things are going to get exponentially uglier.

Your communication skills are amazing. Exactly what I’ve struggling to get across to others. Most of the “others” are of a younger generation. They don’t realize they have been gaslighted into their beliefs. I see them giving up their beliefs and turning into sheep for agendas that are not their own.

I find it very difficult to discuss this topic with people because it is so complex. And such a deep discussion is not even made possible because if you don't agree with them, you are immediately called names and called intolerant. This is so frustrating, disturbing and dangerous. It's scary. I belong to a minority and even within that group wokeism is causing division. I am afraid of this "movement." I fear it will lead to a backlash, a counter-movement with more intolerance towards minorities.

I've been waiting for Teal to cover this topic for a few years now...FINALLY, HERE IT IS!! 🤩💕👌 She articulated everything I have been thinking/feeling for the past 5+ years eloquently and concisely, and presented beautifully as always. The scariest thing in all of it is just how quickly wokeism has gone from a fringe movement, a small-ish but noisy group of people mostly online, to infiltrating and now even dictating so much of mainstream media, politics, education, healthcare, entertainment, advertising, business.... everything! 😖 And yet every public response to woke policies, woke advertising etc. that I have seen proves conclusively this is NOT a movement/ideology that has majority support behind it. 80-90% of the reactions I see online are very negative. People are increasingly resentful of it and well aware of the attempted brainwashing / social engineering at play. Yet to those making these decisions, that seems to be motivation to pedal the woke propaganda even harder. WHY....!? What do these companies, politicians, educators etc. get out of pedalling an agenda that hardly anyone wants and that serves no purpose other than to divide and polarise people even more than they already are? We can all agree that this IS happening and that for most of us it feels like nightmare we all hope we will soon wake up from. But who are the "winners" in this war and what exactly is the "prize"...? THAT is the bit I really can't work out!

What a gift she is to this world. 💝 Also, I have been surprised over the passed couple of years by the number of allegedly spiritual people, members, even leaders of spiritual groups, I have met, who are also bitter, angry, dogmatic and distrustful. They talk of unconditional love, yet themselves point their fingers and denounce, also just as unwilling to accept a differing opinion as the people they accuse of doing the same. Well, I suppose they're fallible human beings just like the rest of us.
You need to watch out for this. Sometimes we get an ego boost by pointing out flaws in others, like "all these so called spiritual people are actually really unconscious, I can see this so that makes me conscious, Im part of the special conscious elite". Its good to point these things out but be careful your ego isnt using it as an opportunity to prop itself up. Me pointing this out to you, my ego is trying to do the same thing. We all have unconsciousness in us. I see pointing this out to you, Ive become acutely aware of it in myself, so thats progress.

I do sometimes put my foot in my mouth when I don't properly take the time to consider what I say. I don't think I'm better than the others, but I also have a hard time understanding those, like from the woke community, who judge and consider only their opinions correct. So I try to learn about human behavior and the motivations behind it. And I am deeply grateful for the wisdom, honesty and bravery that Teal shares with us.
I think you can understand it better by seeing how this happening in the "woke community" is just another form of the same thing that happens in other places. Its not really anything new or special, but this is like a collective form of spiritual ego which does make it especially tricky, and exceptionally ugly. The real spiritual ego will destroy any superficial self image, at least thats what it did to me, and this is true liberation. Anything that separates us from others and the universe is a dis-ease.
Organize worker cooperatives and make all American families financially independent of employers and government and the elites will stop paying media to confuse you guys

Not saying they are doing it the right or healthiest way Yes, I do think it is best to let people heal themselves, but leaving people to it, where has that gotten us? I think some people need tools to help with their healing. Try to tet that disgust go, these people don't realise they're being manipulated. They're essentially like little children (no offence intended) who rely on their parental figures to guide them in the right direction. Give them time and try to encourage them to start thinking for themselves. Don't push them or judge them, they will soon see, and will be feeling so very duped and maybe even embarrassed for falling for it. Neutrality is key. The still point of Source. Realizing that everything exists for a reason: to push human conciousness and evolution. The good the bad and everything in between has a purpose. We incarnated to heal, learn, and experience our souls true essence.
This is definitely what I have been saying all along. TRUE wokeness is seeing people as souls, and from that place, any choice in self expression is respected. This current trend is creating rifts in society by separating people through very superficial terms, not as soul beings and acceptance of ALL. Your first sentence immediately evoked Gordon Lightfoot’s “Black Day in July” lyrics part of “ Everyone is listening and everyone’s awake.” You’re right - it is a much different picture than being “woke.” I wish the song portion about everyone being awake had been reflected in reality though…
I have some questions concerning this alternative to "wokeness". See, im still very much left leaning in the definitional sense, because it is in my interests as a trans person to live in a society where i feel generally accepted to be myself and for others as well. It's about the societal silencing of viewpoints in the name of being woke and subsequent performatism. They even aren`t discussions, you can`t talk to them or exchange opinions or your feelings about it... It feels like going mad sometimes. As a person of color, I FEEL UNSAFE IN MOST WOKE SPACES. I feel like I have to stick to a certain narrative and if I step out of that narrative, then I've "internalized racism" and I'm "problematic" despite the fact I have *actually* faced oppression related trauma. If I don't LEAD with all the horrible things that have happened to me, then I have no credibility. What a horrible way to live-- an over identification with suffering will destroy your human spirit.

When covid hit I was 17 and I started getting the intuition that the news and society was trying to brainwash me and I felt so vulnerable that I just cut myself off from the news and social media which made very uneducated but at the same time I feel like I was able to protect my intellectual integrity more than other people my age. Yep. Its okay to peek in on the news. It's always good to know what the "enemies," are talking about. But watch without believing... don't invest in the narrative. Just know that you know better, what is right for yourself and your body than say, Rachel Maddow or Tucker Carlson. How is covid even related to being 'woke"? Many people (also) healthy died from covid or have long term health complications. It's been proven recently it has destructive effect on the brain. I'm in no way woke (anti-woke even). But this is the biological and medical reality tho.

I had a business as a professional healer and tarot reader for 4 years. I retired that business because I could not handle taking on energy from so many people, and people my age were very stuck in this mindset. It was a constant argument, and genuine advice I would give would always be taken the wrong way. I’m glad I stepped down and starting living for myself
I have a coaching business, and I am VERY up front about being against the modern woke movement. Most coaches are quite woke and I am explicit that I do not do that. I get some hate, but a LOT of love from people who are sick of it. Being open about refusing to cater to this mentality is 100% necessary in modern business or you'll get cancelled and bullied all over the place. For me, my honesty protects me from these people as they are easy to ignore. I've had so many people try to cancel me, it just makes me more money and spreads my message of true sovereignty and empowerment further.

This is what Jordan Peterson and some of the critics on the right have been pointing out about the woke movement for a while now. When the woke perspective first hit the zeitgeist I looked into it and agreed we had some waking up to do en mass. Objections to the ideology were initially easily dismissible by me as unconscious bigotry or prejudice, maybe because I consider myself to be left of center and a progressive? It is sad to see that the crazy extremist end of the left perspective has grabbed the steering wheel and perverted the original intention to such a degree now as to actually become the thing they say they are fighting against. They don't care if the info is wrong at all - they just want to be accepted and be popular b/c their ego and pride makes them this way. It's really becoming a new kind of mental illness from my perspective. My own family tries to jump on every hipster bandwagon coming down the road - regardless if it's healthy to jump on or not. Believe me, I get around enough to see this everywhere...are you a shut-in and don't get out much or is there another reason you're not seeing this much?

Sure, if someone is yelling slurs at people because they are gay, that's a bad thing. Speaking out against that is good.
But other and negative parts of wokeness are:
- calling mothers "birthing people" and many other such things
- pushing kids to transition to the opposite sex and giving them semi-irreversible medical procedures, while they are still underage
- trying to cancel, silence, deplaftorm, censor, etc anyone who disagrees with wokeness
- a hate-filled attitude against "bad people", eg conservatives, plus a lack of understanding that people don't become "good" if you treat them with hate and contempt.
- an overall attitude of "we woke people are automatically and inherently good and right, everyone who disagrees with us is at best wrong but probably just simply evil." I get that woke people aren't literally saying this, but that's often more or less the attitude.
- insisting that woke / culture issues get prioritized over everything, including over family's ability to keep their head above water. (I think the left would be much more successful if it actually tried to improve the lives of average working-class people, no matter their gender etc).
- trying to get people banned from society because they refuse to undergo a very new medical procedure (and note that the ones who manufactured the jabs have gotten legal liability from being sued)

I've been waiting for Teal to cover this topic for a few years now...FINALLY, HERE IT IS!! 🤩💕👌 She articulated everything I have been thinking/feeling for the past 5+ years eloquently and concisely, and presented beautifully as always.
The scariest thing in all of it is just how quickly wokeism has gone from a fringe movement, a small-ish but noisy group of people mostly online, to infiltrating and now even dictating so much of mainstream media, politics, education, healthcare, entertainment, advertising, business.... everything! 😖
And yet every public response to woke policies, woke advertising etc. that I have seen proves conclusively this is NOT a movement/ideology that has majority support behind it. 80-90% of the reactions I see online are very negative. People are increasingly resentful of it and well aware of the attempted brainwashing / social engineering at play.
Yet to those making these decisions, that seems to be motivation to pedal the woke propaganda even harder. WHY....!?
What do these companies, politicians, educators etc. get out of pedalling an agenda that hardly anyone wants and that serves no purpose other than to divide and polarise people even more than they already are?

I live in a commune of sorts. It’s a small community where we share a home, garden, chores and resources in a mutually supportive family type environment. Communism as a political movement is a bankster funded inside job directed by specifically the so-called Khazarian Mafia. Aka the Synagogue of Satan. Historically the game plan has always been the same whether in Russia, China, or presently Europe and the US. They talk of unconditional love, yet themselves point their fingers and denounce, also just as unwilling to accept a differing opinion as the people they accuse of doing the same. Well, I suppose they're fallible human beings just like the rest of us.
You need to watch out for this. Sometimes we get an ego boost by pointing out flaws in others, like "all these so called spiritual people are actually really unconscious, I can see this so that makes me conscious, Im part of the special conscious elite". Its good to point these things out but be careful your ego isnt using it as an opportunity to prop itself up. Me pointing this out to you, my ego is trying to do the same thing. We all have unconsciousness in us. I see pointing this out to you, Ive become acutely aware of it in myself, so thats progress.
@dominicfagan5496 You're right, Dominic, the ego is very powerful. I appreciate you pointing that out. I do sometimes put my foot in my mouth when I don't properly take the time to consider what I say. I don't think I'm better than the others, but I also have a hard time understanding those, like from the woke community, who judge and consider only their opinions correct. So I try to learn about human behavior and the motivations behind it. And I am deeply grateful for the wisdom, honesty and bravery that Teal shares with us.
I think you can understand it better by seeing how this happening in the "woke community" is just another form of the same thing that happens in other places. Its not really anything new or special, but this is like a collective form of spiritual ego which does make it especially tricky, and exceptionally ugly. The real spiritual ego will destroy any superficial self image, at least thats what it did to me, and this is true liberation. Anything that separates us from others and the universe is a dis-ease.
They don’t want people to be free so instead of ever talking about economics they talk about gay and trans and ovens and Mr potatoheads
Organize worker cooperatives and make all American families financially independent of employers and government and the elites will stop paying media to confuse you guys

Yes, I do think it is best to let people heal themselves, but leaving people to it, where has that gotten us? I think some people need tools to help with their healing. I don’t think most people know how to heal themselves…that’s why we listen to others who may know how to help…like Teal. ☺️ While some prefer to stay victimized-you’re right, they cannot be helped.
Focus on expanding your own consciousness. We are all connected, everyone is you pushed out. And so, in order to change the outside world you most change the inside world first.

Try to tet that disgust go, these people don't realise they're being manipulated. They're essentially like little children (no offence intended) who rely on their parental figures to guide them in the right direction. Give them time and try to encourage them to start thinking for themselves. Don't push them or judge them, they will soon see, and will be feeling so very duped and maybe even embarrassed for falling for it.
We need to show them love and compassion....what humanity is really intended to be xo

This is definitely what I have been saying all along. TRUE wokeness is seeing people as souls, and from that place, any choice in self expression is respected. This current trend is creating rifts in society by separating people through very superficial terms, not as soul beings and acceptance of ALL. Unity consciousness has been forgotten in this version of being awokened.

Your first sentence immediately evoked Gordon Lightfoot’s “Black Day in July” lyrics part of “ Everyone is listening and everyone’s awake.” You’re right - it is a much different picture than being “woke.” I wish the song portion about everyone being awake had been reflected in reality though…

It's about the societal silencing of viewpoints in the name of being woke and subsequent performatism. Perhaps you can see the harm in trying to eradicate a viewpoint by suppressing it rather than interacting with it so as to create growth on both sides of the conversation.
Thank you so much for this. I was really doubting myself. All you say is true and I have felt this in `discussions`with my teen daughter.... They even aren`t discussions, you can`t talk to them or exchange opinions or your feelings about it... It feels like going mad sometimes. It is understandable that teenagers are having a black and white look on things, as to this subject. I really do hope and pray she`ll get more insight as she grows up and do the real spiritual work.
