There is a lot of thing on this boat that you can tell Hanse has designed well and put a lot of thought into, like you say one of those is the Companionway steps.
Hi! Looks like a good charter focused boat - plenty os social space - but I've seen better internal distribuition on other boats. That bunkbed is not for me. I don't have a big nose but I bet it'd be scratching the "ceiling" should I try to sleep on the upper bed :) That space'd better be another bathroom, in my opinion, One VERY important feature I perfectly agree with you and can't understand why manufacturers don't fix it is the placement of life lines on the outer side of their boats. Should one fall outside it'll be VERY difficult to survive because you'll be hitting the hull thanks to the sea and speed. If this happens on a passage at night, you'll also have to pray that someone wakes up to help you - maybe hitting the hull helps on this case, as a kind of "alarm"... Even if you use a short (1m) clip line, things won't be easy. Boat designers who do this probably are good days sailors only. Thanks for the review! See you on the next, fair winds!
Like it or hate it? Is the HANSE 548 for you? Tell us in the COMMENTS BELOW.
18:05 The companion way steps look artistic.
