Discovering Vinyl Williams was definitely healing for me. It restored my faith in modern music, the harmonies, the energy, the aesthetic, it's all just perfect. And I'm a jungle and hiphop producer! I also make ambient music but I am so envious of these guys and their musical talent, I wish I could produce music like theirs. I’m right there with you, I was immediately enthralled by their whole vibe. I saw a video of them playing the song Space Age Utopia, and i immediately thought, anyone who names a song that is my people. Lionel from vinyl Williams makes amazing Spotify playlists full of this new idea of a genre. It’s been informing my music taste for quite a while, I recommend it.
Absolutely same, as a guy who has been heavy into the jungle and drum and bass music scene vinyl williams affected me in a very different way, the way I haven't felt in a really long time, there's an abstract pure sound to it, it just feels like the soul of the universe without any attempt to replicate it, it is just pure feeling man.
