This album, Savage Amusement, was neither as good as it's predecessor (Love at First Sting) nor successor (Crazy World), but it had its moments in the form of some solid songs...this is one of them. I'd label it a Scorpions classic.

I was born in 1974 and lived through the BEST DECADE EVER !!! Music was absolutely amazing and you couldn't even point a stick at all the incredible bands back then ! The fondest memories of my life are all from the 80's and these guys helped Americans and Russians learn to live in peace again. They were awesome !!!

Matthias Jabs is a very unique guitarist...I can recognize his phrasing and style within seconds....Like my dad said you dont have to be the best because there is no such thing but you just got to find and develop your own style. Rudolf is great as well. He can play great harmonies and leads himself but rather stick to rhythm which is what its all about.

This band had everything. I'm just happy they made so many great albums and Klause seemed to be a genuinely great person and didn't quit the band. I think he had to have an operation on his throat though in his later years with the band. This kind of singing, as musical as it is must be so tough on the vocal chords. Night after night of touring etc, takes its toll.
The 80's were the best... It's a shame that everyone couldn't be there. The world would be a much better place. In the mean time...Turn up the music and enjoy.

When i was 16, my dad explained to me what this song to me and I remember that moment so vividly. Im 36 and last year, he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Three montns later, 2 days after his birthday, he died. Just recently, my mom passed on Halloween. This song just breaks me every time and even more now that I've lost my parents.
